From NNE, Gorstean, forest gate open but wouldn't have gained much and likely no suitable parking. Mapped path to stile at NN 6079 9319. Descended initially WSW to the other mapped path, but no stile, and plenty deadfall, I soon reverted to the path I'd ascended. Wild day, I resisted the temptation to go on to Creag a' Ghrianain via the SubtumpRHW10/10/2023
Up good track from the Gorstean CP to near the summit of Creag Chrocan then over deer fence. Over bogs to Creagan Mora, then Creag Bhuidhe and its impressive monument via the gate in the deer fence just W of the summit.sclater21/09/2023
Parked at Gorstean and followed the waymarked path pleasantly up through the woods. Over the deer fence to the top then followed the fence to Ghrianain then a direct line to Creag Bhuidhe - a sheep path easing the way through the bog myrtle and the drier, heathery slope beyond. Down to the stony Drumgask track but cut the corner at the end to the corner of the field and the start of the Gorstean track.StueyB03/08/2023

From Gorstean car park, the trail leaving the main track is overgrown now, ended up leaving it and direct to top on steep mossy ground.Dave McG28/12/2018
