Beautiful area, but this was so hard. Parked Butterstone Village Hall. Walked up road to Riemore then R at xroads avoiding Lodge. Up track to hp then L up fence in ok heather to Riemore Hill. NE over worse heather over NT and Far NT. On to Spurn Hill, Craig Wood SE Top, Craig Wood, Creag nam Mial, Meall Dubh, Creag Loigste, Benachally and Craigend Hill. 29km, 12 of which were over mainly knee deep heather, slippy with wet and patchy snow. So glad for every track. Precious few animal tracks. 29km, 850m climb 8:40. | Lynnebe | 13/02/2024 |

17km loop around Loch Ordie from Guay taking in Capel Hill, Riemore Far North Top, Riemore Hill North Top and Riemore Hill. Was hoping for more, but strong winds and deep snow slowed me down. 3.5 hrs | Nicky C | 27/11/2021 |
1st of 6 Tumps ,cycling up from Butterstone Hall. | NormanW | 23/10/2021 |
Parked at Butterstone Village hall and walked to Riemore Lodge (game keeper asked us to go around and behind the Landowners house) and not through the estate!!! Therefore followed the track past the Lodge heading to Lock Ordie with Deuchary Hill on our left. Turn right after passing the Landowner's house on your RHS. | Bigjap666 | 06/01/2021 |
Bike from Butterstone along minor road then tracks. Popped up n doon the heathery Riemore Hill before parking up by the Laird's House at the north end of Loch Benachally to walk the humps and bumps to its north. Pretty rough terrain makes it a tiresome round, but deer tracks aid along sections. Started with the other two Riemore Hills then Spurn Hill, the Craig Woods, Creag nam Mial, Meall Dubh and Creag Loisgte. Time allowed for a ride back through Riechip to Craigend so that Benachally and Craigend Hill could be added to the day's hit list. About 5.5 hrs total. | summitter | 30/10/2020 |
The three Riemore tops, not as heathery as expected, all fairly pleasant | Colin Crawford | 22/01/2020 |
A 9 tump round from parking on grass verge before y junction approx 061478 riemore hill, riemore north top, riemore hill far north top, spurn hill, creag loisgte, meall dubh, blackcraig hill, craigend hill, benachally. | robertphillips | 11/10/2019 |
Cycled from Butterstone Hall (donations box CP at 063459, last before NUV notice) to track east of Riemore Lodge, then 1st/6 tumps in line from Riemore Hill to Meall Dubh. Told off at Riemore Lodge for cycling on track through private garden, I don't think I exceeded my right to roam, but returned by track that bypassed the lodge. | Topographer57 | 15/08/2019 |

After Benachally. Much fire damage on the local moors making walking much easier than it might have been. Summit bump to north of old fence. | Lindsay M | 19/04/2015 |
