Parked at a suitable space just beyond Leightnie, walked back along the road and took the track that goes uphill from blairno. followed this over berry cairn, then on to Peat Hill. returned to the col and cut downhill back to road and short walk back to car. Nice walk. Good view of hill of wirren and over to montrose basin, new tree planting on lower fields, still just saplingshils29/03/2024

Parked alongside bins at end of public road (NO 5200 6736) with grovelling/apologetic note on dashboard. Room for cars to pass but not say, a combine harvester. No one in to ask permission at house opposite.carole engel12/10/2022
