Parked opposite Kintail Outdoor Centre. Along footpath for Falls of Glomach into Dorusduain Woods. Opted to take the forest track on west side of the Allt Mam an Tuirc. It zig-zags nicely up the hill before taking a narrower track to the right that rises steeply up the hill to edge of wood and out onto open hillside. Continued on track to fjords further up and then up the SW flanks of CC. Outcrops are easily avoided to reach top.Jossker09/03/2024
Approach from Morvich along marked and newly improved footpath.sarahk08/12/2023
From relatively new estate car park at 955215 signposted Falls of Glomach CP. Up private road past Ruarach into forest, track almost to north edge of forest, steep 'road' out and track up to bealaich. West and straight up.iangalbraith17/10/2023
Cycled up Glen Elchaig to the Glomach Falls path. Falls in spate spectacular to see.Andrew Simmons25/08/2023
From Carn Loch an t-Sabhail. Predictably good view point. Pleasant descent though forest but kicking myself for forgetting to take in Suie Dhu.Wycombe Wanderer24/05/2023

Parked in Morvich at the Activity Centre. Forest roads north then out onto the open hillside. Grassy slopes following the Allt na Teangaidh Odhair gave easy access to the summit. Spectacular views from the airy cairn. Descended east then up to the small cairn on Suie Dhu. With bolton.Dangerous Dave22/07/2022
Parked at the Morvich centre and did the pleasant walk through the forest to about 985249 broadly following the burn and then then directly to the summit. With D. Dave. Heade to the SE SIMM.bolton22/07/2022
Camas-luinie - Carnan Cruithneachd - top of Falls of Glomach - Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan - north ridge to wild camp near Loch an Dromadavidpettit8401/06/2022
Attempt 1 from Camas-luinie asked local if OK to park & was told far end away from gate that crofter sometimes uses. Gorge beside Allt a'Ghlomach superb got to near Bealach na Sroine after 4hours15 even in May would have run out of daylight. Turned back SMC times grossly underestimated. Attempt 2 from Morvich another SMC route 2 days later 5hours52 including stops. Had they done route 1? Lovely airy summit.rogreeves19/05/2022
From Morvich on forest tracks and good stalkers path towards the Falls of Glomach. Left path at highest point and picked up rough ATV track which avoided peat hags as far as Suie Dhu, then straight up grassy rakes to summit - easier than it looked.nicolajane15/10/2021
Cycle along Glen Elchaig to the falls of glomach path, across bridge and straight for the steep East ridge. Tough going to the scrambling near the top. Alot of loose rock and turf but found a steep gully up onto the wonderful summit. Deer fly hell on lower slopes!Matt290116/09/2021
With Jon, Hannah, Mark, Vicky, Housechild and James. Cycled up Glen Elchaig to foot of the falls, and then did the SMC route from there.Grinner01/09/2021
From Morvich Outdoor Centre. The new NTS path to the bridge, through rapidly growing woodland, up pleasant logging track W of the river, then insanely steep stony track to exit the forest into plagues of flies and clegs. A more sensible track, then off piste in 99% humidity and no wind along N side of Allt na Teangaidh Odhair, then zig-a-zag-a up to the top in cooling drizzle. Superb views but vile clouds of midges. Back same way at first to dodge crags then NE to bealach and vaguely over Suie Dhu, finding a pleasant breeze for a midge-free loaf in the sun (at last). To Bealach na Sroine and path down, more clegs. Note to self: walking in Kintail in July is horrid.Gill10/07/2021
from the new falls of glomach car park, Dorusduain wood has had a change of ownership,it seems cars do not have access, pity longer trudge along tarmacBLACKHILL30/05/2021
Time includes c45m breaks. With MKG from Morvich, after sleeping there in van. Up through forestry tracks. On to a’Ghlass-bheinn after, solo. Cold, clear, splashes of sun, breezy. Rounsfell02/10/2020
Debs & Tali. Sgurr an Airgid to Carnan Cruithneachd with a few tops along the way.Mountain Goat05/05/2019
From Camas-luinie. Along path on S side of Glen Elchaig then crossing bridge to track on N side. Crossed a very low River Elchaig to take stalkers' path running up W of Carnan Cruithneachd then near high point headed up to top of Carnan Cruithneachd (fine summit). Crossed to Suie Dhu, down to top of falls of Glomach, across stream then steeply up to Meall Sguman. Return to Falls of Glomach and down impressive path to cross bridge to the Glen Elchaig track. Hot sunny day.RobertP02/07/2018
Cycled up Glen Elchaig. No sign of any path or river crossing west of the hill so continued to Falls of Glomach and ascended by east ridge. A rather round about route but not without interest.Topographer5727/05/2018

From Morvich NTS Car Park through forest onto open ground. Superb peak on a wintry day with snow and mist which cleared while on top to give a Brocken Spectre, inversion and eventually fine views.benalder28411/03/2018
1 of 4: From Killilan. Bike to Falls FP.ChrisR21/08/2016
Cycled up Glen Elchaig to Glomach falls path. This was spectacular on a sunny day. Then round to the pass and across the Simm to the top. A great Graham.jenx15/08/2016
From Killilan CP for second day. This time only as far as the river bridge for the Falls of Glomach. The that path, interesting in places. Branched off for the Graham and then a steady crossing if the burn to climb Meall Sguman.nordicstar15/08/2016
From Glomach car park near Morvich. Up steep path through forest onto open hillside. Ascended from SW up grassy rakes between rocky outcrops. Superb summit views along Glen Elchaig. Descended steeply on grass and heather to neighbouring Tump.Campbell Singer08/06/2016

Left car at Morvich camp site. To end of road across 1991 footbridge and on forest road by ruined hut. On zig zags to very steep stony path to forest edge. Over open moor and stream to bealach. Off path trundle up over deer grass into boulder area. Mist now cleared. GPS on final stretch and to top at 11.50. Hare and ptarmigan. 16 feral goats. Superb view of Glen Elchaig from Killilan to Loch Mhoicean. Vaughan got a century at last!arranc11/08/2005

With a friend. We climbed A’ Ghlas-bheinn and Carnan Cruithneachd. We left Morvich Outdoor Centre and walked on path up Strath Croe and Gleann Chòinneachain to Bealach an Sgàirne and then climbed to the summit of A’ Ghlas-bheine. Walked N to Bealach na Sròine and to the summit of Carnan Cruithneachd. We descended SW in a thunderstorm to meet the path coming in from the north. We followed the path ~S and then forest tracks to Dorusduain. We crossed the river to join the path used on the outward journey.pwbellarby12/05/2001
