Up from Lundie to Carn Ghluasaid on good stalkers path then over Creag a Chaorainn and on to the large cairn and wind shelter on Sgurr nan Conbhairean. Super view point but midges were terrible so I didn’t hang around on to Sail Chaorainn. Summit looked like rocky rib as opposed to the cairn. Then walked out to Carn na Coire Mheadhoin. Visited the cairn but this was clearly lower than the unmarked high point. Returned and took bypass path around Conbhairean to summit of Drochaid an Tuill Easaich. Managed to have lunch here as sun was out and midges had disappeared. Descent down Meall Breac. Dip in stream and walk back on old military road. Time taken 7 hours 5 minutes for 12.5 miles and 4278 feet of ascent.isabelle02/06/2023
From Beinn an Iomaire. Unfortunately, cloud came down on the ascent of Sgurr nan Conbhairean but lovely, easy ridge walking. On to Carn nam Feuaich West Top.Wycombe Wanderer26/05/2023

Small cairn after small ascent from col- during pleasant descent on path of Sail Chaorainn, bypassing Sgurr nan Conbhairean (done on ascent). Followed ridge path south to 650 m then descended pathless grassy gully SE to c 450m confluence ( easily crossed) then muddy path on east side of river to muddy military road. Ascended East to phone mast then back down to parking at Lundie.Denise 28/04/2023
From Lundie parking, good path up to Carn Ghluasaid, then along to Creag a Chaorainn, Sgurr nan Conbhairean, Sail Chaorainn before returning via Drochaid an Tuill Easaich. Despite a poor weather forecast we enjoyed a pleasant weather window all day. With Gillian, Denise and Zoe.richard6928/04/2023

Climbed solo. Exceptionally fine, warm, weather and dry underfoot. From Lundie (Loch Cluanie) to Old Military Road to stalkers path (excellent) all the way up Carn Ghluasaid. To Craig a Chaorainn, to Sgurr nan Conbhairean, to Sail Chaorainn. Return to Sgurr nan Conbhairean (skirted summit at 1050m contour). SW ridge to Drochaid an Tuill Easaich. S ridge to Meall Breac. Descend steep east slopes to Allt Coire nan Clach. Return to Lundie via stalkers path and old military road. Fine walk with extensive views of Kintail, Knoydart, Affric and south to Ben Nevis on a clear day. Fairly easy too in good conditions. Grassy/stony ridges with dramatic corries to the north and east (hidden from road).jamessteel10025/07/2018

A walk over 3 Munros from Lundie, this the first top. By the usual route, made tough by strong SW winds, snow showers. Even the burn crossing at the start took a while. The tops were all clear, though, and the atmosphere on these relatively easy Munros was tremendous. With brother, Pete.pwheeler22/05/1999

With Shaky from the A87 at Loch Cluanie. Up the stalkers path leading to the upper part of Carn Ghluasaid. Quick going but no view due to the mist. Around the fine ridge to Sgurr nan Conbhairean with just brief glimpses into the corries as the mist swirled around. Continued to Sail Chaorainn & its N top. Back to Sgurr nan Conbhairean & then SW to Drochaid an Tuill Easaich. At this point we abandoned the idea of continuing on for A'Chralaig & Mullach Fraoch-choire due to the weather & instead made a fairly quick descent S then SE to the starting point.NotReallyABagger03/09/1998

Alone apart from Carn Ghlusaid done with Katherine and Mirk. This allowed me to finish at Cluanie Inn where Katherine picked me up. Excellent ridge walk. SS27/06/1983

With: sj lw; From Loch Cluanie fantastic stalkers path to Carn Ghluasaid! Then NW past Creag a'Chaorainn to Conbhairean. Out N all way to Tigh Mor na Seilge & back. Then to Drochaid an Tuill Easaich & ridge back to Loch Cluanie. Much easier than expected.Ian Baines18/06/1980
