1 of 4: From Inverchoran. Early start due to Storm Agnes forecast. Spoke to the keeper at the stables. No stalking taking place today so Plan A actioned. Same route as others. With Karen.ChrisR27/09/2023
From Inverchoran via usual, excellent route.vuirich09/08/2023
Good verge parking at Inverchoran track entrance. Standard route up and down via Inverchoran then east of Creagan a' Chaorainn on good track then good stalkers path then straightforward mostly grassy hike to the summit.Owen B20/06/2023
With M. From Strathconon road, same starting point as Meall na Foachaig on the other side. Another beautiful day, warm with clioudless sky. Met another guy on the summit! A rarity for Graham’s.douglas_easton31/05/2023
From Inverchoran, as per SMC guide (although path goes round the farm on the east side, not the west). Track and then excellent stalkers path. Summit area could be confusing in mist. Fine views of N side of Strathfarrar Munros across Glen Orrin.benalder28428/01/2023

Parking at Inverchoran, track for walkers signed to the left of farm, great track up to a cairn marking the start of a wonderful stalkers path that goes almost all the way, grandstand view of the strathfarrar munros. Very user friendly walk.hils18/09/2022
Oh bliss! A really easy and pleasant Graham. The usual route via the bridge and water splash at Inverchoran. OS need to update their maps; the stalkers path has been bulldozed into a track along the side of Creagan a' Chaorainn. The stalker's path up the hill is brilliant; very well maintained with freshly dug drains, and appears to still be used as a pony path for stalking. The cairns mark the route at the shoulder below the hill where the ground is so smooth and easy that there was no need to make a path and then the path continues on the steeper ground up the hill. Cairns mark the smoothest, easiest way towards the summit. Fine views.Gill10/11/2021
From Inverchoran, as per SMC guide. The path goes round the farm on the east side, not the west as stated in the book. The stalker's path becomes indistinct, but re-emerges higher up. So many false summits on the top - best not to go in mist.IanHHill03/08/2021

Over River Meig around Inverchoran and up steadily on very wide track around east side of Creagan a'Chaorainn. At highest point of track small bridge over a side stream led onto nice stalkers path uphill to its end. General direction of top to another track and a third when that too ran out. Myriad cairns on slopes to top at 15.00.arranc30/06/2006
