Whole Liathach ridge, solo.Denise 13/09/2023
Stuc a choire dhuibh bhig then over Stob a choire liath mhor to Spidean a choire leith. Over the pinnacles scrambling was fine apart from a couple of sections where I took the wrong line! Am Fasarinen then on to Mullach an Rathain. Took it easy and enjoyed being up high in glorious weather.isabelle03/06/2023
Attempted with Dave M, Scott & Ian J, after clinbing Mullach an Rathain in fine but gusty conditions; poor forecast (heavy showers & risk of thunderstorm) helped decide against following on with pinnacle ridge, indeed becoming very wet for lower descent.barnz4820/08/2022

Third day of five-day trip with DW & SL. Classic Liathach traverse. The scrambling was easier than I expected - principally because it is is essentially ALL avoidable if you want it to be. We had an awesome day - clear weather, no wind across ridge/summits, but it was hazy.AGWilliamson21/09/2014

This was great fun, on Torridonian sandstone. I decided to scramble up it from the W in 1986. Emboldened with experience and dry conditions underfoot in 1992, simply traversed it from E to W with Pete then. In reflection, this could have been a better option in 1986. Then, there had been snow overnight, the avoiding path below Am Fasarinen was just ok but higher up, little terrace paths here and there on the ridge were quite slippery. On E to W traverse of Liathach.pwheeler16/05/1986

East to west traverse of Liathach on last day of year with Mark H. Coated in thin snow with wind, hail and spindrift making for some nasty going. Descent by headtorch as is the norm at this time of year. One of our regular YHS Uni Torridon New Year trips. Day had started with a rushed lift before we were ready-Mark got out in bare feet at roadside and put his socks, gloves and jacket in puddle before we even stated-not a great start.Chris Pearson31/12/1984

Then all to Bidein Toll a' Mhuic*, Spidean a' Choire Leith, over all the Fasarinen Pinnacles to Mullach an Rathain. Duncan Macrae-Gibson and I descended the Northern Pinnacles. Then to Meall Dearg, back to the col between the Northern Pinnacles and Meall Dearg. Descended the gully to the west, then to the road via Allt a' Choire Mhic Nòbuil. After the previous night 's torrential rain we were lucky to have no rain. *This is the name in the 1974 Edition of Munro 's Tables.
