With John - full clockwise traverse from Corrie Hallie around to Sail Liath, over the pinnacles (we did not take the buttress head on), the two munro summits and all 7 munro tops, coming off the incredibly steep side of Ghlas Meall Mor back to Corrie Hallie. Big day - sunny above 600m with cloud inversion in all directions for the whole traverse, with the walk in/out under the cloud. 10.5hrs in total.mproudfoot28/08/2021
Followed a good little path beside Allt Glas Thuill. On to west ridge of Glas Meall Liath. A lot of quartzite, but fairly straightforward. Then along interesting pinnacled ridge to Bidean a Glas Thuill. Sgurr Creag an Eich, Sgurr Fiona, Lord Berkeleys Seat, Coarrag Bhuidhe and the Buttress, and Stob Cadha Gobhlach, and Sail Liath. Descent to Lochan na Brathen, and back out on path to Corriehallie. With B and R.jenx15/07/2021

With Andy Ward, from Shenavall bothy, ending at Dundonnell. Cloudy weather (no views above 900m and dropping throughout day) with intermittent rain, continuous rain during final descent. Hitched back to parked car.trainingforwinter29/03/2017
follow the satlkers path from corrie halle towards kinlochewe look for a cairn on your left to go to sail liath and follow the path up and over. you can avoid the pinnacles on a path below and an easy path up.Aristotle Chip23/08/2016
The weather forecast suggested that after a cloudy start the weather would clear. So we were optimistic, especially after our day on Sail Mhòr next door. We parked near the Mountain Rescue base at Dundonnell and headed up towards cloud covered tops. We made excellent time up to the start of the ridge at Sròn a’Choire, but the cloud showed no sign of lifting. Indeed, the cloud seemed to get thicker and wetter. The low cloud meant that some careful navigation was required. We also had to watch our footing as the rock was wet. At least the cloud hid the exposure. We made our way to Bidein Ghlas Thuill and subsequently to Sgur Fiòna skirting underneath its eastern side and then doubling back to the summit cairn, but had no views of this magnificent mountain.langskill08/07/2016

Climbed with Richard in "Alpine Conditions". Excellent blue skies, no wind and clear visibility. Very little snow on the ridge, but patches of hard ice. Roped up for some sections. A long day, 13 hours in total with a night descent but overall a brilliant day.amcculloch19/02/2013
272nd - with Allan - from Corriehallie E to W grade 2 winter climb over Lord Berkeley's Seat. V. clear dry day, but cold. Complete snow coverage above about 850m. Slow progress with the rope work led to reaching 1st Munro just before 5pm and then a big effort to reach the 2nd Munro before dark. 13hr day.RGibbs19/02/2013
Having done the clockwise south to north route in may 2004 this route was catalysed to pick up the other tops by doing an east west traverse cutting across all the lower plains from the north eventually round to the SE side of Glas Meall Liath, quite a heavy steep slog up to this summit and then up towards BaGT including the two eastern pinnacles, BaGT, then solo out to this top to complete my AnTeallach collection, before heading up to Sgurr Fiona for a second visit. On glorious day with Sara Hargreaves. The best day of my two weeks away.vegibagger30/08/2012

With a friend. A large amount of snow on the hills. We walked up the path which starts at Auchtascailt. This path climbs up very rough ground. The map shows the path going up Meall Garbh but we found ourselves going towards the upper part of the Allt a’ Mhuilinn, still on a path, though it was indistinct in parts. This provided a more direct route to where we were heading, so we kept to it, We left the burn and went up the hillside at an angle to the direct fall line to reach the col between Glas Mheall Mòr and the minor top to the WSW. I went alone to the summit of Glas Mheall Mòr and back. We crossed over the minor top and ascended steeply to the summit of Bidein a’ Ghlas Thuill and continued to Sgurr Fiona. There was much snow and we took it in turns to break trail. We considered going round Bidein a’ Ghlas Thuill to the NW but decided it would be easier to retrace our steps, which we did.pwbellarby17/10/1993

from Fiona. Gently and steeply down to bottom of col. Wind gusted so severely that it lifted me off my feet and threw me on my back and left knee grazing knee, thigh and hands. Camera bounced several times, pencils snapped. Picked myself up and gingerly uphill to top. 15.50. Nurse came up and said that leaving the wounds open was the best plan. To col and grass to higher corrie on precipitous slopes and deer paths to 2nd and 3rd corries. On path by a spectacular fall, to rhododendron bushes to road and car. Massive bruising visible in later days.arranc29/05/1992

On a traverse of An Teallach as far as Sgurr Fiona, using the classic path from the Dundonnell Hotel and diverting over Glas Mheall Mor. Like everyone who visit this mountain, I found it exhilarating and magnificent. Set out to do the whole ridge in 2004 via Marble Staircase but the weather deteriorated so quickly that we never set foot on the mountain. This lovely approach seemed more complicated and needed route finding- we might take a more straightforward way another time.pwheeler31/05/1989

First of several ascents. This was a straightforward walk from Dundonnell with the cloud just clearing on top. Did not go on as this was then the only Munro at that time. Returned to Dundonnell and then walked to Altnaharrie for ferry to Ullapool. Ascended in clear weather 04/06/1982, walking from Shenavall to Dundonnell and then on for the ferry. This was at the end of a walk from Cluanie Inn to Ullapool Same route 1/06/1984.JohnW29/05/1979

See Sgurr Fiona on current day for comments. Cloud cleared; wonderful view back and marvellous sunset later. dbb19/08/1968
From the youth hostel at Dunndonnall and straight up the steep path. Misty, no view at the top which was disappointing after the planning and effort, but still well worth itfugues4809/08/1960
1/2 - ascent from Dundonnell. The path on the ground seems to be a good deal closer to the Allt a'Muillin than the map suggests. Route up is straightforward. The NNE ridge of Bidean a'Ghlas Thuill mild bouldery but not difficult, similarly the descent down SW ridge is not difficult......wychwoodblank
