see logs for Beinn Airigh Charr, Meall Mheinnnidh and Beinn Lair for bike/walk in. From Carnmore bothy, good path to NH001774. Easy grass over moor to approx. NG997780, then (endless) almost flat smooth plateau - very easy walking. 3.5 hours from bothy to walk out from NG969764 - should have tagged this on to previous day but wary of being benightedcarole engel13/09/2023

From Beinn a Chaisgein Beag and Frth-mheallan over easy ground with CM. A long way but the scenery is magnificent. Deer Keds attacked us relentlessly in the warm conditions. Back to the bikes at the bridge 993856. A long day! 10.5 hours and just under 22 miles including the 4.6 mile bike ride each way fro Gruinard.bolton05/09/2023
Started from camp near Fionn Loch then took good stalkers path up to the col before breaking out along the broad ridge- eventually - to the summit. With AMkenmorti28/05/2023

Walked in from Poolewe in morning, dumped some kit at Carnmore before climbing hill. Superb day, sunny and enough breeze to keep down the midges.Grinner20/08/2016
This is a great walk. Biked in along the ever lovely Gruinard river. The only nasty bit was walking up the S bank of Allt Loch a'Ghiubhsachain, which was atrociously rough. The going gets easier higher up towards the very easy path below Creag na Sgoinne, and then the walking is really good, with splendid views. I met Nordicstar and Jenx on their way to BaC Beag, and they had guessed who I was from yesterday's bothy book - the power of the interweb. The walk over Frith Meallan to BaC Mor is a nice easy stroll, and the views are rather hard to beat. But the view from the summit has to be seen to be believed. Awesome. On the way down, I left the path near the lochans below Creag na Sgoinne, and made a bee-line towards the bike, using the crags on the N side of the Gruinard river as a land mark, and following the stream below Cnoc na h-Earra. This is miles easier than following the Allt Loch a'Ghiubhsachain, although a bit boggy, the ground is nice and smooth.Gill02/08/2016

With Yeltzbagger. 4 night trip round Fisherfield Forest. Camped in howling gale at Carnmore. I had to hold the tent up. Yeltzbagger carried on over Beinn a'Chaisgein Beag where he met somebody who had completed all the Marilyns except for three to go.Stevie n Tay21/04/2015

Quick up-and-back from the east. A flat topped hill but great views all around.davidpettit8404/06/2011
Revisit. Original plan was just B a'c Beag, after the ferry from Stornoway but a combination of boat and weather problems saw me back on the mainland early. With an 0630 start from Inverianvie River Bridge (ex G1818 FB) I was at the trig in 3 hours and on Creag-mheall Mor by 1130. With a lot of day left I unfolded the map and realised that the impressive-looking Ruadh Stac Mor was probably doable so I headed there over a string of Sims / Graham Tops then back via 2 more Graham Tops and Beinn Chaisgein Mor - a superb 15 hour, 14 summit, 27 mile day.RHW02/06/2011
