Sanday exploration today. Headed up Tallabric leaving track next to red roofed building NG 266 046 (sorry can't remember if there were gates or had to climb wall - don't recall anything overly difficult though). Up moorland to Tallabric summit. Returned to track using gate into cow field at NG 267 043 and then gate to track at NG 267 045. Onward to lighthouse and Creag nam Faoileann | Fife Walking | 19/09/2023 |

Mist on Canna but clear on Sanday, so what could be nicer than a walk in the rain? Tallabric by the little path heading S round the coast immediately after the bridge, then various gates and fields up the hill. Lovely, easy grassy strolling around the undulating coast on dry grass with many wild flowers joining the puffin path to look at Dun Mor, then towards the light house but bonxies and rain too tiresome so wandered back to the luxuries of Tighard. | Gill | 15/06/2022 |
Dropped off near the St Edward's Church, Sanday by Uist Sea Tours primary for the lighthouse but just had to bag these two Tumps on the way. Tallabric then a look at the P36 stack called Dun Mor before Dangerous Dave was attacked by Great Skuas before bagging the P37 called Creag nam Faoileann. | Dugswell2 | 07/06/2022 |
