Roasting day hitting the Beinn Dearg four with John. 17.5 miles, just under 9 hours. The midges were relentless in the morning even as far as the first summit Dearg but by mid-afternoon (and after the second munro), it was too hot even for them. | mproudfoot | 15/08/2020 |
Solo fr Inverlael via Eididh & MnC. Well-broken cloud and warm sunshine, ascent to here had gone briskly though it was not runnable. Some nice views, clear air and distant peaks looking sharp. Quite comfortable on top for ten minutes before long run back down path to car and return to delightful apt in central Inverness (sadly not available in 2021!) | NorfolkPT21 | 08/08/2020 |

My last Munro. Thanks for the champers Wedgy! | summitter | 07/09/2015 |
Long walk in, fairly easy bag. Weather changeable from hailstones to sun to cold wind. Low cloud teased me all the lay there and lifted as I descented. Amazing wall so high up on the mountain. Must have been tough men (and women?) to have built it. | Jhimmy | 08/07/2015 |

Fourth day of five-day trip with DW & SL. Linda joined us for this day too, but did not do all four peaks with us. Classic Beinn Dearg horseshoe from Inverlael. This was an easier day than expected. The ascent to the ~850m col is very gentle, making it very easy. Good weather, with a haze 'inversion'. Descent from Eididh nan Clach Geala. | AGWilliamson | 22/09/2014 |
