Lovely walk from the house we stayed at in Strathpeffer. I was a bit wary of the very steep slope at the top. Saw a red squirrel while I waited for Yeltzbagger to check if I could get to the top. Wonderful woodland and interesting vitrified fort.Stevie n Tay20/05/2022

Accessed from the west side. Planned to park at road end near Beallachnagore, but all I found was a closed gate and barking dog. Nowhere to park considerately. Driving back I passed 2 walkers who looked like they were here for the same reason as me, however there response of 'Why do you need to know that', did not sound too promising. To my surprise he offered to let me park on his drive after I declined his suggestion to park in front of the gate providing access to field. He also told me to path on bend before Beallachnagore which turned out to be a good route all the way to the summit traversing around the south and approaching it from the east. High point looks to be over stile in wood west of trig pillar. Descended to the SW down a steeper, shorter but equally well defined path to bend in road before Beallachnagore. Recommend parking in Jamestown.mntainman18/09/2021

Last hill of the day, from the big and very icy Knockfarrel car park. An excellent stroll in the snow, with fine views all round. A bit of dodging, limbo dancing and crawling under wind throw just in case you weren't sure it was a proper Marilyn.Gill15/12/2017

Sunny morning, hill 2 for the day. Parked at the forest car park GR 478574. Track past the Cnocmor lodges where on owner has too much time and too much wood to fashion fun large wood sculptures. At where track bends NE a small gravel pit and faint path easily missed on the left. Followed path to fence below summit and turned right to trigpoint. Fine view to Wyvis and Strathconon.N.Morters22/10/2016

Solo. From Conon Bridge Railway Station. Walked to Knock Farril and then followed path SW towards Cnoc Mòr. Initially good but then difficult to follow due to fallen tree branches. Path going round to S of summit so struck up hillside to trig point. Highest point probably mound in forest near stile. Found a newly cleared path, not shown on my 1:50,000 map, going steeply down western slopes. This took me to Jamiestown. Bus to Conon Bridge for train.pwbellarby27/01/2015

During a New Year week near Beauly. Stroll along the track from Knockfarrel with Martin66, J, JC, Otis, Shaky & the Harts. The most difficult bit was stumbling around the felled forest trying to find the highest point.
