Parked on verge at Auch Estate entrance, up Auch Glen track then followed Allt an Loin almost to the bealach before final steep ascent to Beinn a' Chuirn. Over to Beinn Mhanach then cut SSW and followed Allt a Chuirn back down to the track. Only two Fords now across Allt Kinglass and they could be avoided if water levels high.TRG31826/04/2023
With Bert using MTB we left Auch and cycled up the graded track crossing Allt Kinglass several times and not always managing to keep our feet dry. We climbed th track and left bikes at Dam ascening the steep grassy and rocky slopes to summit plateau Beinn a' Chuirn and then on to Beinn Mhanach. Misty no views descent was by north slopes contourring round craggy outcrops to bealch and top of track, we walked to Dam and gathered bikes for a rapid if somewhat wet descent back to the car. We were glad of the wheelsdavid.walker4020/03/2023

I parked about 2.5k south of the usual parking as it looked safer and took the West Highland away to the Auch Glen. I followed the estate track along the Allt Kinglass. I saw Common Sandpipers, Grey Wagtail, Wheatear, Skylarks, Meadow Pipits and Ravens as I headed up the Glen on a breezy morning which was mostly cloudy with a few breaks and spots of rain in the air. I passed a bit of forest and an old sheep station. At the bealach I headed up grassy path less slopes to Bheinn Mhanach and then went in to Beinn a Chuirn which was in my view the better summit. Return by same route for 15.5 miles in 5 hours 30 minutes. As I got back to the car the rain came in and didn’t stop.isabelle10/06/2022

Parked just south of Auch turning. Space for a couple of cars. Cycled in. Various fords to cross. Then straight up southern slope. Frequent snow showers.gettingonabit27/04/2021

Good bike ride in to the bealach at NN 368 397 as track smooth and not much ascent until last kilometer. Mist but then it all blew away near the top and then sun for most of the day. Saw no-one on the hill all dayyounggl17/10/2020

At last I got another Munro today, second for the year, with Alex McBride. I drove up the Ochils Mounteering Club Cottage in Crainlarich and left my car there, with Alex driving up toward the Bridge of Orchy for Beinn Mhanach (953m). This involved a long walk in along the floor of Glen Auch to the foot of Beinn Mhanach at 353m, just at the start of the hydro works for Loch Lyon. Then a long slog up a reasonably steep snow covered hillside, which I was quite uncomfortable zig zagging up at times, even with my (cheap) cramptons on. Cloud cover was thick after about 850m, with no visibility on top. I tried to descent northwest onto the leeside, but thankfully Alex convinced me to return the same way, which surprisingly didn’t seem as bad as the ascent, 8 hours all in.chillyman806/03/2020
