Climbed Stuc an Lochain (960m) and Meall Buidhe (932m) today, starting at 06:35 just below the Giorra Dam returning to the car at 13:15. Climbing Stuc an Lochain first, returned to the car then up Meall Buidhe, 6:40 hours all in, just before the rain started.chillyman831/07/2018

Straight up and down from Giorra Dam. Sunny, dry day but hugely windy on top. Northerly was whipping up the snow so made it feel like hailstones. Amazing feeling :)liljonb10/05/2016

Meall Buidhe and tops from dam.rhalstead08/09/2013
Started from Giorra dam in mid afternoon. Luckily did this one in a spell of dry weather (no rain for previous two weeks), otherwise would have been a real bog. Even so, a few wet spots on the walk. Route was the standard trade route, up the left side of Coire Beithe, then over the moor and up to the col between Meall a' Phuill and Meall Buidhe. Ascended to the ridge, and over to the summit. Easy ascent, there and back within three hours.oriolefan10113/07/2013

Solo winter hillwalk. Some fresh powder overnight down to below the dam. Moorland peat hags filled in with deep snow, used snowshoes a fair bit. Whiteout conds. (*very* dodgy drive back over Lawers pass (should have gone back same way along Glen Lyon!)jonbowyer12/02/2011
