The Ochils Mountaineering Club had a trip to Glen Brittle Campsite planned for last weekend, but the forecast meant most of us bailed on it. A few hardy souls went up anyway and I joined them on Wednesday. On Thursday, Karen Webber, Andy Moffat, Colin Craig and I, bagged Sgurr Mhic Coinnich (948m) a Munro. Ascending the An Stac screes from Coire Lagan (which was very unsettling). Then Karen and Colin lead the two pitches, so I could second up onto the Innaccesible Pinnacle (986m) my 190th Munro. That was some experience in the breezy conditions on an exposed shard of rock......chillyman804/05/2023

OMG. Hill 2 of 3, the InPin. The climb up was way tougher than expected. The absail down easier than expected. What a buzz. No views as murky and wet but had the pin to ourselves😀😀akmilne29/06/2022

Windless, hot and sunny, plus a guide. Via east ridge then traverse. An audience dissuades one from declining to do this.iangalbraith24/08/2021
A superb day of scrambling fun with Harrison, covering the In Pinn to Sgurr na BanachDaich, Sgurr a' Ghreadaidh and Sgurr a' Mhadaidh. Slightly warm, but the occasional breeze helped keep us cooler up on the ridge.mproudfoot26/06/2021
Southern 8 Cuillins climbed on rather wet day. An attempt to climb all 11, but plans changed due to weather. 22km, 13h, 2000m elevation gain.ytropek30/08/2020

Ascended Sgurr Dearg on traverse from Sgurr na Banachdich to Sgurr Alasdair. No climbing gear so impossible to climb Inn Pinn. Great views all round anyway.quadbarrel13/10/2014
First experience of the main Cuillin ridge what a great place. The weather was warm dry and sunny although rather hazy. I climbed the Inaccessible Pinnacle and touched the high point. I also took in Sgurr Mhic Choinich which was quite an exposed scramble. I am grateful to my guide who made the day. Guide was Ron Walkerisabelle21/09/2014
From Glen Brittle. A superb day out, climbing the fin to the top of the pinnacle & then abseiling down. With Pigeon/Ian/Ryan/Jim & Erin, with the assistance of our guide Jonah Jones.MorecambeMonkey21/06/2014
1st of 2. Joe and I hired guide Jonah Jones to take us up the Pinn. He sets a decent pace, but youy do get a break every 1000 ft of ascent :D I didn't find the Pinn hard at all, it's all very safe and matter of fact :)bowzi19/06/2014

First walk in The Cuillins - absolutley stunning scenary - the best I have seen of anywhere in the UK. Menacing beauty! Did the walk with Rach & Gillian from Skye Guides. Weather was perfect - not a cloud in the sky and the sun was shining. The InPin was good fun and not as difficult as expected. Could be solo'd but best to abseil off. Also did Sgur Mhic and joining ridge. One of my best days in the hills. Descended the scree slopes at the back down to the Lochan which was surprisingly fun and fast to get down. Great great day!scholesy13/10/2013
With Ken Hamish and guide Gillian. Wet misty day and some scrambling to get up on the ridge.Went up on rope of 4 with me at the end. @nd pitch hardest and knees employed. Very misty and glad I could not see the drop . 30mins up and down . Did Banachdich afterslynch21/09/2013
In party of three from Memorial Hut led by Skye guide Jonah Jones. Brilliantly clear morning allowed all to climb to top before rising winds and cloud.neimcv06/09/2013
Final peak of our 4th day in Skye with Nick P, led by Matt Barrett up the long side. Much easier than I thought it would but glad of the rope! Glorious day with extensive views. Enjoyed going down the short side.signyred07/08/2013

5th and last Munro of day. Weather worsened. Nipped up the Pinn and abbed off. Became misplaced on descent - went to bottom of gully instead of traversing earlier back to An Stac screes.Kevin2903507/10/2012
