The Red Cuillin ridge from Sligachan. Up the lovely Druim na Ruaige ridge to Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach then a quick down and back up Ciche na Beinne Deirge. Next the big boys ... Beinn Dearg Mhor and Glamaig before a descent to the A87 via An Coileach. Although a three mile walk back along the A87 to Sligachan was required due to no one picking up hitch-hikers any more, it did not spoil a fabulous walk. 6.5 hrs total. | summitter | 21/05/2023 |
Parked NG488299. Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach. Steep scree down to Bealach Mosgaraidh and again steep scree up to Beinn Dearg Mhor. Steep scree down to Bealach na Sgairde. Very steep grass to Sgurr Mhairi. Great walk | carole engel | 21/05/2023 |

From Sligachan, up the tracks into Coire na Sgairde and up to the Bealach na Sgairde. Initial steep rise from bealach up scree and boulder field then onto broad ridge along to summit. Had set of at sunrise so summited around 8am on a beautiful, sunny, clear blue sky morning, could have sat there for hours drinking in the stunning views!! | Jossker | 22/04/2023 |

From the east via Moscara bealach. Ascended above north bank of stream, descended above south bank. Sun on summit. Most other red cuillin summits were capped by cloud banks, but in a spectacular scene, black cuillin summits were above the clouds. | Topographer57 | 29/06/2021 |
