A trek from the Marilyn. Basically follow the fence.Play2End13/02/2024
Very cold breeze, intermittent sun. With Ian.BasherBob13/02/2024
Lots of new logging tracks around here, its a real dream for cycling. Cycled in from yetts of muckhart. A new track goes right to the foot of this hill. After bagging simms for years, bit odd to bag a sims hill. Picking the hills off 1 by 1 so i can return..hils12/02/2024

Nearly didn't bother but thought I might as well. Saw Green Hairstreaks at base.iangpark24/05/2022
By the usual route via Corb. Down the back is a marked stone circle. 3 stones left, recumbent, surrounded by Marsh grass still in the shape of a circle. Also stones in a line further up the hill. There's a ruin too, of an old Suzuki Jimny!Belfarm 24/03/2022
Circuit from Corb Bridge, taking the track to the junction at the start of Corb Glen, ascending over the flank of Perk Hill to Corb Law, then following the fence to the western end of Corb Glen, where a steep ATV track heads from the gate towards the summit of John's Hill, now with its name neatly painted on a summit marker pebble. Down and up another ATV track to the barely distinct twin tops of Sim's Hill, back to the col and contouring around John's Hill to Lamb Hill and its even less distinct double summit bumps, before descending to the B934, through what what is likely to be profuse tussock grass in summer.Nick Down101/01/2022
Lovely trio on good ground.jimbloomer15/05/2021
Down to the col from John's Hill, then steeply up to Sim's Hill summit. Went along fence line to second possible highest point. Good views.LizH14/05/2021

Parked at Littlerig. Across fields to burn, crossed it just below where fence crosses. Steeply up to forest road, left road 200m after it turns W. Over fence and straight up to summit. Return same way.Minto06/08/2016
A really short,very steep ascent from John's Hill.Play2End29/06/2016

Steep, easy ascent from col with John's Hill. Turbines next door rather noisy. Descent via the two stone stone circle and on to the horrors of Black Creich. The only Sim I'm interested in.fasgadh14/11/2015
Ascended from John's Hill in misty conditions.JohnW14/07/2015
Pleasant walking from Ben Thrush to Lamb Hill (via Sim's Hill & John's Hill), often on grassy tracks.Lindsay M01/03/2015
From car park at Littlerig, over a gate a few metres north of house and up the north side of the stream. Ground rough and tussocky in places. On to John's Hill.Topographer5705/02/2015
