Bus from Buchanon Street, got off at Distillery up track directly opposite bus stop through field.
Then onto Dumfoyne, Clacherty, Earls Seat and Dumbreck. | colazione | 14/10/2023 |
Took the (marginally) easier left hand path at the steep pull up, then the right hand path at the top of that which curls round the face. Found part of this path has slightly eroded away so care should be taken. Descended down path at back of Dumgoyne which is very steep. | Coinneachacoiseachd | 31/08/2023 |
Morning run up from the distillery. First of two peaks. | mikejacobs | 03/07/2023 |
Solo. From the layby immediately north of Glengoyne Distillery. Up the field immediately south of the distillery to join the path/track to Earl's Seat. Used the well trodden path that goes up the western slopes of Dumgoyne to the summit. Continued on path to go steeply down NE to join the main path/track to Earl's Seat which was followed over various bumps to the summit trig point. Back on the same path/track but used the path going round the north of Dumgoyne rather than going over the summit of this impressive little hill. A fine day with excellent views. | pwbellarby | 29/07/2022 |

A circuit of Dumgoyne and Dumfoyn in a sunny interlude on a dreich weekend. Parked by the distillery.Path over Pipe Track to summit, then along the Earl's Seat path, until a track branches right to Dumfoyn. A steep descent to a path SE then S by a wooded glen to the Pipe Track. Enjoyable providing you could stay upright on steep slippery slopes - which I did most, but not all, the time. | Nick Down1 | 19/03/2017 |
Walked from the Distillery in the rain, met a hillwalking cat! No view, still good steep scrambly fun, will be back on a nicer day to include Earl's Seat. | Chris Mac | 18/09/2016 |

With Peter during Glasgow trip | nix_snilloc | 04/04/2015 |
Ascended twice on ascent and descent of Earl's Seat in snow. Ascent from distillery a slog, but cloud cleared just as summit reached so great views over Glasgow. Mud made descent potentially hazardous due to being very slippery. | quadbarrel | 21/02/2015 |
