From Ben Aslak. Quite dry so no problem. Great views everywhere. Headed directly to the forest road end to descend. Under 5.5 hours taking it easy on a beautiful day. Solo.bolton30/05/2023
From parking 200m rough track to mast (turning possible there). From Beinn Bheag, and continued Beinn Aslak.Minto29/05/2023
Midday, 12 degrees (15 later) brightly overcast, westerlies. Parked at Bealach Udal and biked down to the forestry track just west of the cattle grid. Walked up track then boggy ATV track and nice walking higher up. Too hazy for good views. On to Ben Aslak.Wycombe Wanderer25/05/2023
4th and final Marilyn of the day in improving weather and with extensive summit views. Direct line from Ben Aslak down south west ridge, across boggy grassy col and then up through mixed rock slabs and grass over complex terrain, finally seeing obvious trig and cairn. Great loch views. Descended NW to mapped track of good gravel and followed this to road. ( open personnel gate next to locked gate) . Then turned right up the hill on the road. Looking for line of cut marks but after 2 pivots got a lift back to Bealach Udal where car was parked. Solo.Denise 25/05/2023
With Dave Roeder. Parked about 730218 and walked up the track to its end near the col. Woodland almost non-existent. Carried on over the 546 top to the summit. Cloud on top but mostly dry. Returned by same route; finish 16:15dbb11/05/2023
Parked at cattle grid. Track to end then reasonable ATV track almost to 546m top, then easy walking SW to summit cairn and trig. Returned same way to benefit from easy ground.willyross04/05/2023
From the cattle grid.Digger activity at the col between here and Ben Aslak.Lovely viewpoint.ARM31/08/2022

From Ben Aslak, down the SW shoulder, across the broad bealach, then a line NW of Beinn Dubh a' Bhealaich. Fantastic views in all directions, especially to the Cuillins, Rum, Eigg, Knoydart, Beinn Sgritheall. Returned to the bealach, then aimed for Beinn Bheag and down to the car parked at the viewpoint high on the Kylerhea road.Owen B25/06/2022
From the forestry track, off road parking at the bend just before the cattle grid. From end of track, an ATV track goes a long way up Beinn na Seamraig, after which it's a nice easy stroll to the top over a bump. Back down on horrible ground heading for clear deer track crossing the bealach up this NE on better ground to dodge crags, then up to the ridge, easy stroll thereafter to the top. Wonderful views from both hills despite sleet and rain. Deer tracks lead back to the main track home. Nice hills.Gill02/10/2021

From Glrnn Arroch up the track then over easy going to summit. Great views.N.Morters01/05/2021
Parked down near Kinloch Lodge Hotel then went crashing through trees up steep slope over Bheinn Bhreac and across to BNS trig. My final trig on skye.Matt290106/02/2021
As others parked at the cattle grid and walked up the track to it's end then picked up the ATV track to the ridge and then around to the summit. Locked gate reported by others was lying on the floor, not even on it's hinges.Excellent view point. 6.75 miles round trip took us about 1hr 30 to the summit.JulieB18/09/2020
Up track just before cattle grid on minor road, then a bit of quad bike track, before cutting across easy slopes to the summit. KeithByTheC18/09/2020
From cattle grid in Glen Arroch on mountain bike along good track to its end at 738190. (Gate on track was open). From here an ATV track/path provides an easy route up onto Beinn Dubh a'Bhealaich from where the route to Beinn na Seamraig is straightforward.Winterfloodian08/09/2020

Parking just W of cattle grid, NG730217. Unoccupied car thoughtfully blocked access to 4x4 track which, on this 37th day of rain, doubled as a stream. Locked gate is about 300m up this track. At top end of 4x4 track an ATV track eases progress over very rough moorland directly and substantially towards Beinn Dubh a'Bhealaich, then rough ground across dip to fairly well defined top. Worth GPS waymarking the top end of the ATV track as descending directly back to top end of 4x4 track, by compass, in 20m viz-bites, over such rough ground, was not a trifle testing - ATV track MUCH easier, if you can re-locate it.Isbjorn19/06/2019
From the North. Locked gate at 729215 so it's a walk all the way, but easy on track and then grassy atv trail to ridge.NormanW19/05/2019

final afternoon ...day 28 in Skye, from a couple of hundred metres before Kinloch Lodge Hotel up hard work slopes to Beinn Breac and on to Beinn na Seamraigvegibagger07/06/2017
From end of dirt track (NG 7384 1907); some rough heathery ground. On to Ben Aslak. With Steve Smith.jonglew30/04/2017
Drive to end of track with Jon Glew and Iain Gallagher then straight forward walk up ridge to summit before descending to Bealach and on to Ben Aslack.mntainman30/04/2017
Up the track from the N, drove up a little way to park. Terrific viewpoint but very windy today.Chris Peart15/10/2016
Cycled up track from the north west to col, then round of Aslak and Seamraig.Topographer5725/05/2016
Much easier than expected. 1 hr up and down from track end. And Skye Marilyns complete.jenx16/05/2016
With Jenx. Up the track, largely good nick. Less than an hour to trig and back. The misty isle living up to its name, our final Skye Marilyn.nordicstar16/05/2016
MC JC O. Great views down the Sound of Sleat and to the Cuillins.Martin6631/05/2015
Parked in the Kinlock forest car park. Followed the circuit to the abandoned township of Leitir Fura which has good views as a lot of the conifers have been removed leaving the native woodland. Walked further NE along the old drovers road before banging up hill to the top (one deer fence to slide under). Great views although Mrs Mindlessflogger said it was the hardest one she had ever done as she was just getting over the flu and I had unfairly told her it was only a forest walk.mindlessflogger22/12/2014

Trig revisit. Short-grass summit and a fine place to be on a dramatic evening of brooding skies. From NE, tussocky approach, boggy in places.RHW18/09/2009
Park at cattle grid in gentle rain. Down road onto access road over bridge up on contour through side gate to a padlocked deer fence. To end of road trudge up on spongy tussock, moss and sludge to northern spur to top at 13.25. Could see column on the main peak 1/2 mile away. Firm going on short grass over wide bealach to top at 13.45. Vanessa 9803.arranc14/05/2007
