#5 of 7, great wee hill. From SE, parked in Carnbo, good track up via Craighead Farm, then anticlockwise round of Mellock, the 3 other Tumps and 2 Subs, finishing on Downeri then SW to rejoin farm track at gate. Wild and wet after first hour. Met farmer on way out who wasn't happy as there are stock on lower fields, but was Ok after a chat.RHW20/09/2023

a good 6 tump round from carnbo parked on minor road south of the main road downeri, braughty hill, cloon, carmodle, mellock hill, drumgarland.robertphillips14/01/2019
From Cloon - easy curving around the deep steep glen between the hills - one old fence/dyke easy to cross. There are grassy ATV tracks on the hill and the farmer arrived at the summit at the same time as myself in one. Very friendly, which was a relief given the reputation of another in the area. Return to Littlerig is possible without mixing it with the new forestry, it is possible to follow the fence on the Glen Queich side. Shame about the barbed wire fence at the start though.fasgadh14/10/2017
Steep down and up, plus burn crossing, from Lendrick Hill.summitter19/08/2017
Carnbo-Downeri-Cairnbo Stewart (ruin)-Mellock-Carmodle-Braughty-Cloon-Cairnbo Stewart-Downeri-car. Had a chat with a nervous farmer about fields to avoid due to lambing hence roundabout route.chrisbien30/04/2017
After Cloon. Really steep sided valley between the two. Descended SE, and followed South Queich to A91Minto04/01/2017

Up on the forest track from the main road to the south. Then across the Cross Burn and down hill to South Queich. A very steep ascent then follows to the summit cairn.Play2End08/05/2016
