From the car park to the north along the ridge path. An insight into what a wooded pre quarrying Salisbury Crags would have looked like. A lovely walkfasgadh22/12/2022

With Lewis Hill. Highest point not obvious.hillsman31/10/2019
After Lewis Hill. Followed distinct path along the crag from Lewis hill past interesting rock pinnacles then own zigzag path with some largish (and by now very wet) stone steps, Picked up the steepish zig zag path up the other side which flattened out near summit. Walked around visiting various high spots then back over Lewis His to car.Jubilado17/06/2019
From Bannock Bridge after Gillies Hill. Network of paths, the best of which follows the edge of the ridge all the way round. Came back down via more direct forestry road.agentmancuso22/02/2019

Started from the CP by the concrete bridge North of the escarpment. There is some forestry working taking place this summer, but no need to deviate from the escarpment Edge path. The summit of Middlethird hill is one of a number of y mounds on either side of the path where it bows towards the grassy apron of the dam, probably the around the lower trunk of a Scots pine. Here and the summit of Lewis Hill are superb viewpoints. Returned via the western bank of the reservoir and wished I hadn't, given the amount of litter in an otherwise beautiful landscape.Nick Down124/06/2018
