Detour from Baspard Hill: down a gap in the gorse, across some grazing fields and up Orrock Hill's grassy E ridge which bounds the quarry.Rod M16/01/2022

After Dunearn Hill, approached via access road from S. Passed through couple of gates at near side of Orrock Cottage and picked up path running alongside fence below hill. Crossing point with rudimentary stile just beyond HP then up through obvious gap in gorse. No quarrymen around to offer lifts on Sundays!Lindsay M22/08/2021

Approached as carole, but met by Quarry Manager near the trig, wondering what I was about. Explained trig bagging and he was happy to accompany me to the top, take my pic, then drive me back to my car in his truck. That's what I call a result.NormanW10/08/2021
Large parking area NT 221882. No problems with gorse by bypassing trig to approach from eastcarole engel08/05/2021

With Baspard Hill. An afternoon of gorse, brambles and barb wire. Best to approach the summit from the east for an easy grassy walk. Definitely not from the west (which I did) as ended up actually walking through the quarry (not working today).Fife Walking22/11/2020
Tricky19/11/2020
Walk from Burntisland station, over The Binn, then via wee roads to here. Trig might not last if quarry gets much bigger.BasherBob08/02/2020
Round of Montquey, Dunearn, Baspard, Orrock and Stoneyhall. Fairly awkward traverse from Baspard due to gorse.Thearlaichdubh29/09/2019
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: From south past the house at Hatton, then to Orrock. After chatting to the house owner she advised there was a small fence to climb and then to follow the very faint track zig zag up the hill which the horses used to take. Well let’s say it had been some time since any horses took this route. It was very hot and steep and had ferns that entangle you and lots of wee hidden holes. Ferns as high as us in places. Couldn’t see a path up though the gorse but luckily (not for Gerry’s heart) we spooked a deer which showed us the way. Tough going all the way there and back, nearly killed us in the heat.thejackrustles29/06/2019
From Quarry Company car-park up track to Orrock farm buildings, then along steadily rising grassy track to summit - avoiding gorse but not snow storm.summitter30/12/2017
Gorse and deep grass aplenty. Done after Baspard then dropped to the road back to the car park below Stoneyhall. I really don;t recommend the latter partColin Crawford12/08/2017
Via Hatton and Orrock Cottage. Old track to summit area and on to trig.chrisbien01/04/2017

From Baspard Hill. Ziz-zag down though gorse to col. Shorts & T-shirt not recommended - but not frightful. Across two fences to trig point at summit, which is still well clear of any quarrying. Returned same way, E then SE. Contoured round W end of Baspard Hill, straight across last field to road as it was stubble. Otherwise would have to follow field edges - which still wouldn't be a problem.Minto03/02/2016
Across the fields and endless fences from the last TUMP. The trig point is still there well away from the quarry face. Came back down through the gorse via the farm road. A hard tick this one.Play2End26/02/2015

Parked at start of mast track to south. Quarry still a good distance away from pillar.agentmancuso21/05/2011
From the south, some tough vegetation. Summit still there.fasgadh25/08/2008
