From Creach-Bheinn up east ridge onto Cnap nan Gobhar and south along ridge to summit. Cloud and rain had come in on route so didn't hang around or get any view. Headed back north to Glen More.Jossker10/07/2023

From Creach Beinn then back down south ridge to Lochbuie. Tough wee hills but ground bone dry.daviemore08/06/2023
From meeting of old and new roads to north with Robert. Very dry which made for easier progress on grass to 500m. Then undulating ridge to Cnap nan Gobhar where visibility caused GPS to come out! Over to summit and return by same route in clear now.SS06/06/2023
from A849 up north ridge, which has lots of lumps and bumps.IanHHill27/06/2022

The one that had got away...nice walk from the high point of the A849 where there's a parking place on the loop track. Path across nice dry bogs, then lanky grass, better when the ground steepens below Creag na h-Iolaire. Once above 500m, it's an interesting stroll up the bumpy ridge, with grass, scree, little crags making the going blissfully easy.Gill19/06/2021
With Rob. Followed SMC guidebook route from Glen More. Fantastic moonscape on upper Ben Buie. Initial low cloud lifted to give glorious views on both hills from Skye and Rum cullin to Arran hills over Kintyre, colonsay, Jura and Islay.alexmaclennan31/08/2020
Circuit from Lochbuie including Creach Bheinn on a hot August day. Tough going but great hills. Final descent from Buie through long tussocks grass, bracken and bog Myrtle extremely vexatious...Rockdoctor16/08/2020
Quick up and down Ben Buie from the north. 2hrs return from the car...Nicky C30/03/2020
Ben Buie and Creach Beinn from the stone circle parking. This completes all the Marilyn's in the Highlands; just 6 in the Borders remain.PGCE24/02/2020
Parked at the bridge - 615255. Headed up the path NE up Abhainn a Chaiginn Mhoir and at the highest point went directly west to the summit. Steep and hard work in hot conditions. Solo. Returned the same way as I decided Creach Beinn was too much in the conditions.bolton21/09/2019
With Dave Roeder. Followed route in SMC Graham book, parking at bridge; path to step in glen, then up slopes to Creach Bheinn (16:00). Back down to glen at watershed (17:00). Up broad ridge (some fine gabbro slabs) to N summit and thence to Ben Buie top (19:00). Down S to path leading R through cliff line then steep slopes to road by phone box. Car 20:05. Warm sunny day, good views.dbb01/05/2019
Round of Creach-Beinn and Ben Buie, with tops, from N. Started with drizzle, rained more heavily as day progressed. Cloud fairly low, some interesting route finding.RobertP30/04/2019

Bus out and back from Craignure.Up via Cnap nan Gabhar to Beinn Buie, doubled back top first top and ridge down to south end of loch before the slog back up to Creach Beinn. Path back to road was poorer than I had hoped. Good tops rather spoilt by cloud.dickscroop13/04/2017
Ben Buie and Creach Beinn from Lochbuie by the route described in Dempster's Graham guidebook.davidpettit8402/01/2017
Started at Lochbuie then climbed up Ben Buie, Cnap nan Gobhar, Beinn Fhada and finally Creach-Beinn for Jim Fothergill's 1500th Marilyn with Alex Cameron.Dugswell229/05/2015
Changeable weather on a fine round with Douglas and Jim.Alex C29/05/2015
With Jenx from A road highpoint. Easy grass slopes first, then over craggy tops. Neat Graham top snow blew in and became a blizzard. Compass problems due to the rocks made for an interesting descent in 4 inches of snow!nordicstar27/04/2015

Started at NM616303, where it is possible to park. Bagged all the subsidiary tops including Cnap nan Gobhar. Dropped down to Lochbuie car park where I had hidden my little folding bike behind a shed, the day before. Long cycle ride back to start. Sun and Martin R23/04/2012

With Damian. Parked at the water edge by the memorial in Loch Buie. Along the road to the telephone box then up boggy slopes to gain the broad grassy south ridge. Dense cloud and rain made the going difficult between the crags higher up. Found a scree track rising from right to left then over a slippery slab. Magnificent old cairn on the summit. No views. Back same way. Absolutely soaked!Dangerous Dave30/10/2011
From top of Glen More, via Cnap nan Gobhar. Easy scree and short rock bands, could be confusing in poor visibility. Hail shower on top. For descent, head just to the right (East) of Beinn Talaidh.malcorbett30/05/2011
