Circular of Ben More and Beinn Fhadasturuss02/09/2023
Parked just west of bridge over Scarisdale River. Rough path heads SE uphill to attain ridge and continues in a southerly direction to NW top. Walked along ridge up first step after small lochan continuing along ridge before a final short scramble to reach summit. None of this is exposed or difficult and a rough path guides you up. I didn't really have time to continue along ridge and cloud and rain had come in so returned by same route back to Scarisdale bridge.Jossker12/07/2023

Before Beinn a'Ghraig, with P. Clag from about 500m up. Spent 45mins at summit hoping for it to lift - it finally did about two hours later. Rounsfell21/05/2023

from B road via SW end of NW ridge, which is asuper combination of nice grassy going and rocky outcrops. The summit is like a natural rock castle. Great views of other mountains and seascape.IanHHill30/06/2022
Langie Mull meet at Salen. With Matt, Jim, Sheryl & Simon. Up by the main ridge, descend initially to the north then down into Coire nan Gabhar.Grinner30/04/2022
Ben More via A' Chioch and Beinn Fhada with John - parked at Dhiseig and walked along the road to the start - clag and 45mph gusts above 600m made some of the route a bit dicey - especially the scrambling section between A' Chioch and Ben More (simple scrambling but not when the wind is trying to push you off the hill). 6h 18min for the full round.mproudfoot16/04/2022

Repeat visit. On route between Beinn nan Gabhar and Beinn Fhada NW Top.PGCE29/06/2021
A fabulous walk for midsummer's day, easy going, superb views. From Scarisdale, easy up dry pasture, then heathery hillside with good animal tracks up to short grass and scree dodging up through small crags to pt 504. Lovely stroll along Beinn a' Ghraig ridge, then down and up to Beinn nan Gabhar. Down and up to Beinn Fhada, lovely walk along the splendid ridge, hands out of pockets at one point. Down the N ridge, crag dodging. Dry feet all day in trainers, no waterproof socks needed.Gill21/06/2021
SMC book route from bridge over Scarista River, first by its NW top, then on to the graham, returning by horseshoe route over Beinn a Ghraig.willyross29/04/2021
A brisk round of Beinn Fhada, A'Choich and Ben More. clockwise route with some snow on the ground. No need for crampons, but a few detours around the Scrabble to summit Ben more.Nicky C29/03/2020

From foot of Ben More path (9:45) walked to summit (12:30). Along fine ridge to A'Chioch (13:25) and on to Beinn Fhada (14:55). Continued round ridge to Beinn a'Ghraig (16:40) - fine stony top. Then off end of ridge and down to road, tricky in woods at bottom. Back along road to car (18:30). Some cloud earlier, but fine day with long views.dbb02/05/2019

Fantastic walk along three ridges for Rob Wights third last munro. Sunny dry and perfect viz. circular walk from Knock. 8 hours.alexmaclennan19/05/2017
Directly up ridge from bridge over Scarisdale river after bus to Salen and walk in, no lifts! Slightly complicated in cloud so decided to drop drop down to col before A Chioch. Very erratic compass (Ben More problem) added problems at start but worked out fine. Got lift out to Salen almost immediately after hitting road.dickscroop16/04/2017
Set off direct from the road to the north in rain because of the enthusiasm of Jenny. Rained all the way to the top which was clear of cloud and I was grateful for my new gortex. Chucked it down really heavy as we reached the to, so we ran off down to the col with Ben More. The sun was out by the time we reached the car.mindlessflogger16/12/2016
(Cont fr Ben More). With Alice. Left Ben M at 14:50 and descended steep rough path in cloud over A'Cioch down to col and up Beinn Fhada (now in sun). Good views. Back to near col & long path to road (18:20). Alice jogged to fetch car. Great daydbb08/06/2016

With Jenx, parking near road bridge over burn coming from currie between the Marilyn pair. Quad bike track up to 200m then through grass and light heather slopes to craggiest ground. Easy through to sub-top then main top. Continued easily round the circuit to Beinn nan Gabhar then via higher col to Beinn Fhada. Back along its fine ridge and SE ridge to start.nordicstar24/04/2015

from Ghraig. continuing on ridge disturbed an eagle 60m away who took off into mist without flapping its wings. Tricky descent over an awkward crag and a large yellow scree area to bealach and on rising contour over grass to second col by passing B nan Gabhar. Uphill to grassy ridge and to top at 14.10. to NW top.arranc30/08/2006
During a New Week stay in Tobermory, combined with an ascent of Ben More with Shaky. The usual starting point for the Munro, along the glen (frosted nicely underfoot) to the col between the two hills & then steeply N to the summit of Beinn Fhada. Back to the col & then over Ben More descending the path NW to Loch na Keal. If I was doing this hill on its own, I would walk back along the ridge of Beinn Fhada towards the loch.NotReallyABagger02/01/2006
