With Pauli from high point on road. Very windy but shelter on approach to summit. Showers, some sunshine. Rounsfell04/09/2020
A really interesting and lovely hill. From the waterfall bridge near the high point of the road. Easy going alongside the stream onto a shelf running below the hill, S along this below a bank of heather until an easy way up through the crags becomes visible alongside a stream. Onto the plateau, a huge moonscape with wonderful views, and an easy stroll to the top on grass and soft gravelly scree.Gill17/07/2020
From the high point on the B8035, an anticlockwise round of Beinn nah-Iolaire, Beinn na Sreine and Maol Mheadhonach. Lots of deer around and very handsome Buzzard.Nicky C28/03/2020

After Coire Bheinn. From 469317. An easy enough walk which is reasonable underfoot for most of the way. One hour 40 minutes return. Solo.bolton22/09/2019

MC O DC DS IS JM. From the highpoint in the road. Ascent trending leftwards. In a very wet week, managed to get up and down dry. Just! Earlier snow had melted. Good views seaward. Large herd of deer.Martin6603/01/2018
With J, Martin66, Shaky, Smithy & the Big O. During a wet New Year week on Mull, started from an extended passing place (leaving enough room for cars) at the highest point of the road. Across very wet ground to start & then following lots of different obvious sheep/deer tracks trending SW. Fairly easy going up the final slope to the top where there was a decent seaward view even if the cloud was closing in.NotReallyABagger03/01/2018
Dropped by friends at high point in road to climb Beinn na Sreine, on to Coirc Bheinn and down to Loch na Keal shore to await the Ben Moreists/drivers.lordtonult20/05/2017
Pretty easy going from the high point on the road. Interesting cliffs and scenery.jenx25/08/2016
Climbed along with Coirc Bheinn from the high point on the road, where parking is rather restricted. Good visibility meant it was easy finding a way up and down through the terraces of basalt rock. Might be more tricky in misty conditions.JohnW19/04/2016

Wet with summit in cloud plus second TuMP with Jim Bloomer.Dugswell210/05/2013
A easy ascent from the north east starting at the road pass. Half way up the mist came down and the rain set in to deliver my second soaking in three days. I know Mull is not famous for the clemency of its weather but I had come to expect better in the spring.Topographer5705/05/2013
Limited parking at NM45449 32970. Across the stream and followed cliffs with sea eagles wheeling overhead, then over the summit of B na h-Iolaire to main summit. Easy walking. Dropped straight down to roadbridge at NM468318 enroute to hill 1312.Martin R14/04/2012

parked in Glen Sellisdeir by roadside. 500' asl - a good start. Across a stream at a road bridge and over wet ground to get to foot of hill. Uphill steadily on deer paths where found to first line of crags. Another steady plod to a second, to find a green ramp uphill onto sloping final top. Around to left onto large area of loose stones - like an unfinished Irish road repair - with no grass anywhere. To top at 10.50. 6' well built shepherds' cairn. Calm. Iona, Staffa, Barra, Clisham, Treshnish Islands, Tiree, Col, Gometra, Ulva, C Bheinn, B More, and Buie. cloud over Jura.arranc08/09/2006

Solo. PP (456327) to Beiinn na h'Iolaire, Fionna Mha'm, Meall nan Capull, Creach Bheinn, Beinn na Sreine & return. Overcast cool & breezy.Vin24/10/2004
From Balmeanach Farm. First we walked to Mc Kinnon's Cave, talking about the legend of its resident spectral hound. While inside we disturbed a cormorant which flew out noisily and gave us quite a scare. We retraced a short way then got up a slope to take us above cliffs, then W to Caistel Sloc nam Ban, by a burnside, over Fionna Mham and delighted on the interesting little summits and the fact that the pools shown on the map were rockpools not bog. After the Marilyn top, our way down was N then turned E at the cliff of Creag a' Ghaill. Our final walk on this Mull visit had been one of a quite different character from anything else we had done. A patchy cloud base at 2000-2400 ft gave us a bright day but lacking distant hill views. With Pete.pwheeler08/06/2002
