| 2nd of a 4 tump loop from the layby opp. Greenfield track, climbing Ballageich Hill, continuing Wnw descending steeply then through hole in fence and along the edge of Bennan Loch and up easily to the top, recording 292m @ NS 52151 50559. | Been up this hill many times from both Ballageich and South Moorhouse sides. Nicest loop in my opinion is to park in layby at Muirshield Bridge to N (no parking signs beyond), then up to Bennan Loch on track and up to summit. Descending WNW to corner of woodland (509517) leads into a short firebreak to a new track through felled woodland.
