Parked at the car park to the SW of Neilston Pad. A beautiful crisp and sunny day with plenty of dog walkers around. A walk out to Duncarnock then back to Nielston pad via Dyke hill.Buck26/02/2024

14.35 ish from car pk to the south.. Calm warm day after another nearby trig visit.vegibagger02/06/2023
From the car park to the SW, along forestry track until a small path goes through a stretch of trees before opening out onto the south side of the hill. Turn right once you reach a large cairn - to a smaller cairn on the summit proper.summitter26/07/2022
Revisit. From former CP area to south. Popular with dog walkers evidenced by the many deposits. Otherwise a fine hill and viewpoint.lordtonult03/09/2021
From NS 4719 5438. NB: CP closed but roadside adequate.summitsup02/09/2021

Some nice views make this worth a visit.colazione27/06/2021
From Duncarnock, along the road to Snypes passing close to the already bagged Dyke Hill. Followed road to the end where it is easy to go through a gap in the dyke into a field down to the dam. Up the path network to join the Tourist Route from the south. Despite the horrible weather a pleasant ascent. Very quiet. There is a freshly built cairn at the summit. Fed up with the weather now so returned to Mearns Road by Neilston and Newton Mearns. Got the wind to blow me up the hill. Plans to head south for more hills shelved. Ran into difficulties with a road closure by Springhill but got round through the woods of Springhill Dean.fasgadh27/04/2021
Parked at Neilston station to start a 3 Tump ACW walk. Popular hill with locals with path to the summit area. Next stop Dyke Hill.bjewing30/01/2021
Parking at the sharp right hand bend to south. Track and then path to top a few meters from cairn. great views of Glasgow again.Campbell Singer26/09/2020
From P near Harelaw along forestry track then up a good, though muddy, path to summit.sclater07/07/2020
Parked to SSW where the track starts at the bend in the minor road. Followed the forest track and the path from NS47479 54537 (just after a track junction) leading to the large cairn. The summit was a small cairn in the grass about 50m SE. Pleasant walk.LizH11/06/2020
Circular walk from home.Grinner06/06/2020
Parked at Harelaw then a quick walk up the boggy path to the summit cairn, well hidden in the tall grass just along from the much bigger cairn. Not as good a viewpoint compared to Duncarnock. Walked down the other side and back along the forestry track to the start.Chris Mac12/10/2019
10th and final tump of a 26.6km circuit from Harelaw car park, climbing Knockenae, Dareduff, James's Hill, Cairn Hill, Floak, Byreside, Mearns Law, Duncarnock and Dyke Hill, descending South then Sw over wall onto lane then around property to use boardwalk across edge of Snypes Dam to forest track curving round to the West then up through trees to reach edge of deciduous woodland and steep ground. I followed the fenceline Westwards where the gradient lessened slightly then up through the trees and onto the open ground, through the long rough grass to reach the top. I recorded 262m @ NS 47669 55101. Nice hill! East Renfrewshire completed! I descended Ssw keeping within fenceline to reach intersection of fences then Sw over grassland to reach track heading West, sometimes detouring via adjacent woodland as it was completely waterlogged but I emerged back onto the lane to reach the car park.Dazingdale28/09/2019
From car park to SSW. Various signs saying No entry due to forestry operations, but nothing happening at 22:20! Network of tracks and paths lead to very close to the summit.Minto03/07/2019
From Dyke Hill.Farm track to west of Dyke Hill summit to southern tip of Snypes Dam. From near there path goes round hill in clockwise direction and up to summit from south. Headed north down lovely path through woods to reach farm track and then road back to Neilston.russell6113/12/2018
Sparkling winter's day, would be very muddy otherwise.hillsman07/01/2018
After Dareduff to road and from parking to SW and then follow path up side of forest. Then on to Neilston via paths. Tremendous viewpoint over Glasgow.Thearlaichdubh15/01/2017
