Parked at the car park to the SW of Neilston Pad before enjoying Duncarnock, Nielston pad and Dyke hill. Off to Knockenae via the wind farm path. High point easy to find as all the trees have been felled - felt like I was visiting Chernobyl..Buck26/02/2024
Along the win farm track until a building reached, then across grassland and into forestry.summitter26/07/2022
Up by windfarm track. Interesting mixed wood to summit and turbines named by local schoolchildren gave added interest. (Whirlie, Birlie etc.)lordtonult03/09/2021
Round of 5 (well 4 if this isn't) from Neilston - Knockenae, Dareduff Hill, Knockmade, Corkindale Law and Thornliemuir. Left road S of Muirhead, followed fenceline SSW then round to S of plantation. Approched summit from S, then descened E to wind turbine.quadbarrel13/03/2021
From track to SE leading to community wind farm. Lower branches of trees in plantation are removed so you can walk through any of it.sclater07/07/2020
In forest, easily reached from tracks in the community owned windfarm. Final one of four tumops on circular walk from Neilston.Grinner22/06/2020
Parked at the entrance to the windfarm. Walked to just beyond the first turbine and through the new 'walkers gate'. Across the grass to the small wood, and easily up through mature trees to the summit.LizH11/06/2020
1st of a 10 Tump loop from Harelaw car park at NS46552 54561 then onto minor lane heading Sw past Commore Dam taking turbine track Nw then along old wall and over fence to cut up through woodland to the top, recording 240m @ NS 46499 58974. Back the same way to the minor lane, continuing Sw to 229m spot heading for Dareduff hill...Dazingdale28/09/2019
From SE, excellent parking at start of wind farm road. Up track to first turbine, then across pasture to wood. Quite a lot of fallen branches and trees, but easy enough progress to the summit.Minto03/07/2019
