Followed robertphillips parking and route. Easy | Andrew Simmons | 02/03/2024 |
From verge parking at castle entrance, using driveway then newish forest road through felled area and vague paths over old bracken. The cairn on top is quite an elaborate two tier construction | Colin Crawford | 14/02/2022 |
Parked 200m south of KOG near handy gate, across field and up through wood to the top. | robertphillips | 29/01/2022 |
Parked at Kirkland of Gelston farm house after a chat with the pleasant (and chatty) owners (who are not the farmers). Dunguile Hill first, then crossed the road, field gate at NX 7799 5739 then roughly followed the wall up NE; into woodland where the forest bulges out on its southern side. Mass of dead bracken at the top was awkward. | jonglew | 25/01/2021 |
Parked S of Kirkland of Gelston then up field along S edge of woodland , turn left over a gate and to the summit. | Adrian | 24/11/2020 |
Track marked as path to castle then up through wood to a bracken forest at the top. There is a path all the way but faint in parts. | chrisbien | 05/06/2018 |
From west through pasture, then up through trees. Summit is flattish with headhigh bracken, think i made the high point. | cjo | 23/07/2017 |
