Ariundle Centre then NE through woods to Ceann a'Chreagain, crossing Strontian River then SE following stream to col then Sgurr nan Cnamh. Returning over Sgurr a' Bhuic then west to cross SR to Ceanna'Chreagain. A fine but cool, overcast day & dry then becoming warm. Extensive views.Vin03/05/2023

After bivvying at the mines, and waking up covered in ice, I ascended this straightforward ridge via Sgurr a' Bhuic. On to Druim Min enjoying another temperature inversion.sclater19/12/2021

Solo trip. Gill is quite right about the deer tracks following the burn (typically 10-20m up on the N side). Snow showers high up.Invicta1422/05/2021

An easy and lovely walk from the Ariundle Centre. Ignore the SMC guidebook, it's nuts, just go over the river and take any easy way up the lower coire to join the stream where there are good deer tracks. Once into the top coire, follow the NW ridge to the top and splendid views. Ariundle oak woods are superb in spring. Excellent orange cake in the tea room at the Centre.Gill12/05/2019
Great day. Climbed with my dad from Ariundle. Through the nature reserve, across the large river and up the grassy hillside. Snow on top and great views of surrounding hills. Bits of mist added to the atmosphere. Spent the descent trying to figure out the way up Sgurr Dhomnuillketzster02/04/2019

Took about 5 hours will pals Andrew and Wendy- equally as long down as up, slow terrain. Wild country.dmckeith18/11/2018
From tent in Glen Gour to head of Glen and up very steeply the ENE ridge. With some snow about did not fancy it in descent so headed about 1km west to a lochan on the ridge and dropped down to north rather more easily.dickscroop30/10/2018

Cycled from Ariundle. Rivers crossed safely at 862659 and 863659 but no lower. West ridge. Did not summit due to unexpected descent of rain and mist, complex topography and patchwork of slippery snow. Should have brought my kahtoolas and spare GPS batteries.Topographer5709/04/2018
Up from the nature reserve car park. Two knee deep river crossings. Tried two days ago, but rivers in spate. Cream tea in the Ariundle Centre, when I got down. Excellent.ngthack08/04/2018
3 Grahams and tops from Coire an Iubhair on a bright cold day. Sgorr Mhic Eacharna, Bheinn Bheag, W top then across to Sgurr nan Cnamh and Druim Min (visited both tops) and return via Coire an Iubhair. Some snow on tops, outstanding views to Garbh Bheinn and beyond.RobertP01/04/2018
Navigating back to Bealach Feith n Amean in mist and rain was tricky and down from the col was splish-splash all the way.IanHHill23/05/2017
From A861. Ascended alongside Abhainn 'n Amean. At NM865618 met a hydro track coming from the direction of the A861 also - would be an easier ascent route. Proceeded to undertake a clockwise circuit of Coire na Creiche. Returned over the west ridge of Meall a' Chuilinn to explore the gully marked on the OS map at NM878616. This is spectacular and well worth a visit. Descended the associated burn to the A861 (no deforestation required) and returned along the verge to my starting pointraffemeister03/12/2016

drizzly epic walk with jon moss and mike gronski from ariundle. Easy river crossing ascending and a lumpy ridge that took a long time to reach the cairn. Had to ascend 250m to top path to cross the waterfalls. 7 hoursalexmaclennan11/03/2016

Took bus Strontian to Sallachan 978627 (9:55). Walked up road & path up glen, then struck up NE ridge to trig point and then summit of B Leamhain (11:15). Down NW ridge for abt 1 km till crags eased then down to tussocky col (12:00). Overcast but dry. Long ascent to Sgorr Mhic Eacharna (13:10), then via deep col to Beinn Bheag (14:10). Fine undulating rocky ridge with great views of Garbh Bheinn. Finally down to col en route to Sg nan Cnamh; long slabby then rocky ridge led to summit (15:50). Continued ENE, following the long watercourse down to Ceann a Chreagain (ruin). Weather had been overcast but dry; drizzle began on descent. River low so fordable but rocks v slippery. Walked through woods back to Ariundle car park (18:10) and cycled back to car at Strontian.dbb15/06/2015

My 1,200th Marilyn in Scotland. As Mrs B did in 1993, I followed the muddy path up Glen Iubhair to its end and beyond on green pastures to the corrie loch at 902632. Contouring around Druim Min easier flatter going to the foot of the final clamber to the top. Fantastic.arranc16/06/2013
Cloud was building on Garbh Bheinn so we extended our walk from Inversanda to Beinn Bheag over gneiss badlands to include this Marilyn insteadpwheeler21/05/2013
