From Glengalmadale, steep ascent via south flank of Beinn na Cillle. White out on summit, return via same route, abandoned Glen Galmandale round.John Lee15/02/2024

Superb sunshiny anti-clockwise circuit of the Glen Galmadale horseshoe from the CP. Up past Curlew Cottage and The Steadings onto the East Ridge. Minor path most of the way to Airigh Mhic Bheathain and Meall nan Each. Nice arête over to Maol Odhar East Top then back up to Maol Odhar proper. Some unusual walls just before Creach Bheinn before huge fall and rise up to Fuar Bheinn. Similar prominence change to Beinn na Cille. Down the SE flank to west of a wee forest then over the road to grab Ceanna Mor. Had a stand-off with a stag at Camasnacroise before a well earned beer back at the camper. 6hrs.summitter25/02/2023

Up Glen Galmadale then straight up to the bealach immediately south of Fuar Bheinn, on to Creach Beinn, past the camp and over Meall Odhar. Running out of time so skipped diversion to NE top and dropped down into glen for return.dickscroop28/08/2022
Clockwise round of Beinn na Cille, Fuar Bhienn & Creag Bheinn from Glengalmadale farm. Tough (tick infested) fern jungle from the road but otherwise decent terrain, and magnificent views (despite clag on the corbett summits). Total time 6h 47min.mproudfoot09/07/2022
88th Corbett. A traverse of the impressive Glen Galmadale Horseshoe, taking in the two Corbetts of Fuar Bheinn (Cold Hill) and Creach Bheinn (Hill of Spoil) as well as 6 other peaks, along the way: Ceanna Mor, Beinn na Cille, Maol Odhar, Maol Odah East Top, Mealham Each, and Arigh Mhic Bheathain. I did it clockwise, so I finished the hard up and down work by the time I reached the main summit of Chreach Bheinn. The descent along the eastern ridge being very easy on the legs, and the detour to bag Maol Odhar East Top costs very little in extra effort. Splendid views out to the west to Jura, Mull, Rhum and even the Western Isles. Also back east across Loch Linnhe to all the Lochaber hills from a perfect angle. So keep it for a fine day. 20km with 1630m ascent, taking 8h 30m.silveracorn_alan01/06/2022
With: hb; Parked at Glengalmadale House. Followed the road 1km to start S ridge of Beinn na Cille where gorse ends. Descended N to bealach then an easy grass ascent of Fuar Bheinn. Took the ridge NW then N to complex bealach then another good easy ridge up Creach Bheinn. Stunning views from summit shelter. Trig destroyed by lightning. Descended into upper Glen Galmadale for wildcamp at 450m.Ian Baines28/05/2021
From Beinn na Cille. Deer tracks kept veering off to the left on the ascent, I followed one of them thinking it might be a better line but had to turn right uphill.Owen B17/08/2020
On first day of solo week in Ardgour/Sunart. The Glen Galmadale horseshoe. Parked just E of bridge & then climbed steeply between forestry & river on other side of it to summit of Beinn na Cille. Definitely easier to use E bank of river. A bit of a slog. Stags roaring everywhere. Dropped N to low col & then an easier wander up to Fuar Bheinn & then round to Creach Bheinn. Continued to Maol Odhar & then completed the round before dropping back gently to starting point. Noisy stags all day but only actually saw 2 lone hinds.NotReallyABagger29/09/2019

Blue sky sunny day, light breeze. As part of horseshoe from Glen Galmadale. Rounsfell12/05/2018
From the north with GHC. Easy start on the track but a hard slog across the moor to the start of the final push. Great views.Play2End20/04/2018
From Beinn na Cille. Bit nippy at the top with biting easterly, so we decided to do the ridge west to Glas Bheinn and descend to the forest road at 836548. This seemed more appropriate for the winter conditions and left us with energy for the rest of the week.mindlessflogger26/02/2018

Round of Glen Galmadale with Richard, Luigi & Mia (dog). From car (10:30) at foot of glen, up steeply by wood and above to SE ridge and B na Cille (12:25). Rain started, cloud down. Northward down to col and up ridge to Fuar Bheinn (13:50). Rain stopped, still in cloud. Down to broad col then up long stony slope to Creach Bheinn (15:15). Cloud lifted, views appeared. Walked down past Napoleonic lookout then followed long grassy ridge round top and E of glen back to start (18:35). Good day in the end.dbb13/06/2015

With M. Wonderful day over both Corbetts and the Graham. M's feet in bad way. Fortunately fairly easy after initial steep ascent on Beinn na Cille, nice grassy ridge on way down. Very midgy in glen.douglas_easton26/05/2015

Glen Galmadale horseshoe, clockwisedavidpettit8402/04/2015
RBS Ariundle weekend. I walked this clockwise round of 1 Graham and 2 Corbetts with Gary B and Mark P. The weather was fair, some wind and light rain, maily clear. We had good views down Loch Linhe to Lismore and mainland. We saw two dead goats one on top of other relatively fresh in wood at start, and black feral goats in the distance at end of the walk. No stops till we reached the summit of Beinn na Cille. I was going steady and ok until halfway up the second Corbett, Creag Bheinn. The ridge back down was not as smooth as looks from distance, lots of ups and downs. 8 hours.langskill26/04/2014
BK. Glen Galmadale (Loch Linnhe), Beinn na Cille, Fuar Bheinn, Creach Bheinn, Maol Odhar, Meal nan Each, Aiirigh Mhic bheathain, Druim na Maodalaich & Glen Galmadale. Fine wintery day.Vin21/11/2013
Another dry day. More cloud around than on previous days but cloud base remained above summit. Track and path up west side of Coire Ghardail then up west face. On to Beinn na Cille.Topographer5714/10/2013
