Parked by the allotments, quick stroll up the tarmac path. went around the reservoir perimeter twice before finding the trig point which is hidden in hawthorn trees. Annoyingly, it seems the banks of the reservoir are higher than the highest point outside the fence!mattymatt16/02/2021
Litter, broken bottles, burnt rubbish. Just some of the delights around the summit area. Good views though.bjewing17/01/2021

1st of 5 tumps today on a very hot day, this from Bishopton station (via train from Port Glasgow)walking to Erskine then up to the compounded reservoir, highest points recorded on both the West and East sides but I walked around the reservoir twice, the second time noticing the trig pillar that is not situated at the summit. Onwards via the Erskine Bridge to finish at Kilpatrick station for the next leg- Douglas park from Hillfoot station.Dazingdale28/05/2018
Quite a good viewpoint but I would not like to be up here at night.hillsman09/03/2018

From Kilpatrick railway station, over Erskine bridge, cross road at roundabout towards playing fields, then juked up through housing scheme to St John Bosco school, where joined tarmac path which takes you up to the mast and excellent views. Award yourself a prize if you can find the trig in summer.Thearlaichdubh05/03/2017
