From the club house across the golf course. Trig sits on a little mound | Andrew Simmons | 11/06/2023 |
Parked on Dalmary Drive and in through the gates to the Club House. Had a brief chat with a couple of golfers before following the edge of the course towards the trig point, across one fairway, then round the edge and finally across between two greens to the summit. Some golfers around, but I was less a distraction than the large boxer dog taking some exercise. Pleasant views despite the drizzle. | Buck | 22/08/2022 |
Picked a wet day and no golfers in evidence. Straight up from the club house. | sclater | 30/01/2022 |

Parked just outside entrance to the Club House. Just a few golfers, but none seemed to mind as I kept mostly to the edge. Great view from the trig on an imposing mound. Then back to Manchester ~480 mile day arriving just after 17:00 | GordonAdshead | 16/07/2020 |
Walk from home, just along hedge and over a couple of fairways. Trig is right by a green: decent view and no bother/interest from the golfers. | Grinner | 28/06/2020 |
Parked on Dalmary Drive and in through the gates to the Club House. (The gates also give access to Barshaw Park.) Followed the edge of the course towards the trig point, quickly across one fairway, then round the edge and finally across between two greens to the summit. Some golfers around, but they may be used to people going to the trig point. | LizH | 17/06/2020 |

Climbed this dozens of times as it's the closest hill to my house - just a few minutes walk away. If you're driving the easiest route is to park in the golf car park at the end of Balgair Drive, cross the 1st tee and just keep heading uphill. watch out for golfers. | mattymatt | blank |
