Parked on logging road to NW of Berry Knowe (1st hill of the day). Then onto Nether Hill. From there headed NE to pick up an unmapped break starting at NT 2507 2106. On to The Wiss.jonglew02/12/2021
Across from Nether Hill through the trees which were fairly open. Out on the open top the lanky heather and moss was hard going. Down to St Mary's Loch and back along SUWAndrew Simmons01/09/2021
The route from Nether Hill was rather tricky. Finding a break between the trees took a while to find, and once out on the summit dome the thick, rain-sodden heather and matted grass was tough to scramble over. Returned down the west slope to the SUW. More open most of the way, but steep and slippy in wet conditions. Yuk Yuk Yuk.summitter14/08/2019
Miserable damp morning. From Tibbie Shiel's (now closed, sadly), up field then using sparse firebreaks and through fairly open trees. Summit area pretty horrid underfoot, deep heather and spongy moss. Descent east to meet SUW wasn't much fun eitherColin Crawford16/10/2018
P at café. Took track on W side of NH to avoid cows then E and S. Down to March Sike. Gate where there is a break and old fence heading roughly N. Track along S side of BL then steep break to top. Best stay on W side as better underfoot and animal tracks. E was horrible.chrisbien02/11/2017
East Muchra Hill, Peniestone Knowe, Peat Hill, Nether Hill, Bowerhope Knowe, anti-clockwise from Tibbie Shiels. Amazing clear blue skies, once I'd climbed out of the freezing fog at the loch side.agentmancuso21/01/2017
