From CP at 551330 - a pleasant stroll up Cauldshiels Hills, White Law and Dod Hill.sclater15/03/2023
From small dirt car park near end of public road to the N (NT 5109 3299). 6.5k round of 4 small hills, this the first, then on to the other Cauldshiels Hill, White Law and Dod Hill on the return.jonglew30/01/2022
Same route as log of 20/12/16. Summit now even worse. Came in through fields from bigger Cauldshiels to E of loch which is only sane option to get to top. Descended through detritus to loch and back to Tweedbank.Thearlaichdubh28/06/2021
Bagged while walking the Borders Abbey Way. Selkirk to Melrose.Andrew Simmons07/01/2021
In a round based loosely on the Galashiels circular walk and Border Abbeys Way. Descent from Wester Hill by paths was pleasant with the odd drop off followed by crossing the Tweed on the railway viaduct (now with railway!) Slog up road from Abbotsford was enlivened by listening to a win over the West Indies. Ascent on foot up steep field, summit in rapidly regrowing woodland, grab this one while you can. Very windyfasgadh28/07/2020
From NNW, HP just inside recently replanted plantation. Then S to the P80RHW20/01/2019
The conifer plantation that once covered this hill has recently been felled. Easier to access summitsam.g.guthrie17/07/2018
4 tump circuit: Both Cauldshiels, White Law and Dod Hill. Parking at carpark only known to locals NT501325.David Evans16/02/2018
First of 4 on foot from Melrose.NormanW25/07/2017
4th of round from Tweedbank station via Border Abbeys Way. Came from much more impressive Cauldshiels South via dam. Summit is about 5m inside clear felled tree boundary over barbed wire fence. Best escape route is back to field and back to BAW. Pleasant circuit for those who are fed up with the Eildons.Thearlaichdubh20/12/2016
Round of three. hill now clear felled so very ugly surroundings. Fortunately the brash isn't too fierceColin Crawford15/03/2016
2nd hill of 7 today on a route from Galashiels to Melrose, visiting Gala Hill, then dropping in to explore Abbotsford House, following Borders Abbeys way before veering off to climb by side of conifer woodland. Summit is just inside woodland next to Beech tree with view onto the Eildon Hills. Descended steeply making my own way to the loch where I dropped back onto the Borders Abbeys way for a short while.Dazingdale16/05/2015
