| 1st log for this hill! Third hill of four on a route on and off the Southern Upland Way (SUW) from Longformacus to Cocksburnpath. After crossing Whiteadder water on the bridge I walked a few metres East and then scrambled up the wooded slopes (gorgeous woodland) climbed over a fence and then another to follow track skirting conifer plantation and from there explored summit area. Highest points appear to be edge of fort ramparts but high readings also obtained about thirty metres away. I continued N over one field and then Nw over another before following field boundary NE onto minor road linking up with S.U.W at Whiteburn. | Dazingdale | 18/05/2015 |
