| Parked roadside at quarry entrance, all locked up, quarry looks disused at the moment. Walked up access road to second gate, then sharp left turn and steeply up side of quarry. | Approached from NE road that goes to Whisgillls. Some crossing of young conifers in bog land then easy pasture to summit where I was approached by farm worker on quad bike, friendly chat ensued.
