O: Ground at NT 08980 65797 obviously lower; prefab building at NT 09136 66033 appears lower and expected so from map

O: Judging by other logs, the top has been completely landscapedl; no outcrop, no mounds of earth, just flat grass, with highpoint close to duck pond.

From the SW, parking in wide gated back entrance to Selms Farm, on minor dead-end road to Morton Resr (NT 0821 6540). Went on to the Lawheads trig pillar - in hindsight would've been over 1km shorter to have done the 2 from the NE.jonglew25/01/2024

Parked at the beginning of the farm track to the West and walked up to the field with the telephone mast.JAdair9706/02/2022
From turbine track end - pretty much direct to the summit. Turbine field had been planted with barley so wouldn't have been viable in the spring or summer.sclater13/01/2022

From the wind farm road. Across the field, up track past new build. Challenged by house builder who was unaware of tick lists. Convert?Play2End21/11/2021
Track from SW. Diverted into fields on S side to avoid large bunch of cattle around brownfield area halfway up. Spotted someone in a HiVis jacket on the horizon, so thought work of some kind might still be going on, but no sign when I got to the top, and whatever was happening has been abandoned I think.agentmancuso19/11/2021
Along road from the west. The summit is a smooth green field near a pond with some quiet geese. Very straightforward.fasgadh04/11/2021
from Oakbank car park up road through building site to highest point on road; return same way.PaulineD06/04/2021

As Jubilado. According to my GPS summit GR is in middle of messy field not far from pond. No sign of outcrop. Certainly not going back.russell6111/10/2019

On a mound by radio mast. Trig few hundred metres to the north is very precariousvegibagger01/07/2018
Parked at entrance to Selms Muir Wood and walked a bit back towards Kirknewton turning off along farm road. Through the shiny new gate past the strange habitation to 2 earth mounds. Return by same routeJubilado22/03/2018
from locked gate to the west early morning bag, 2 recent large earth mounds east of outcrop are several metres higher.robertphillips13/01/2018
Walk from Kirknewton station on minor road. Plenty of verge space to avoid heavy lorries from quarry. Strange summit. 1* On to Corston.Thearlaichdubh08/08/2017

Kirknewton-Selms Tops-Corston Hill-Auchinoon Hill-High Camilty-Livingston South station with Bert and Reg. Ignored limited signage trying to keep us out of work area roughly 500m WSW of the messy summit.campagvelocet20/09/2016
From SW, up track marked on 1:50K, but which is being'improved' - looks like serious road construction. Thankfully diggers all quiet. Agree with all the comments of Pete R., so won't repeat.Minto22/05/2015
Walked in from NE. Prefab 500m to NE visited, appears slightly lower as expected from map.RHW09/05/2015

Sundry Down style of top. Summit still there despite best efforts of mechanical diggers to extract stone.Adrian15/11/2014
I parked to the west, at NT082654. The track on the map doesn't exist all the way, but I followed the left of a fence which turned out not to require climbing. This hill is one for connoisseurs of scruffy farmyards. But does An Teallach offer a pond with ducks and geese, right next to the summit? Or passing trains that seem to be in the same field? Or views of the Pentlands, bings and Livingston? I think not.Pete R01/11/2014
Top is a complete mess and has been bulldozed. Someone is living in what looks like a couple of linked portacabins very close to the top.chrisbien31/08/2014
