There is a signed footpath from the road at 449 730. I however decided to go through the jungle of Hangingside Wood. Fantastic Tump though.colazione25/06/2023
Wow, what a superb viewpoint... hugely interesting volcanic plug. I actually took the bike and cycled from winchburgh around all the minor roads. Well maintained path to this craig.hils24/04/2023

With Iain. From Uphall in the damp. Last-minute decision to finally visit. Brilliant, short Grade 1 and 2 scrambling moves to summit and a look around the impressive W face.iangpark05/10/2022

Always a favourite as I grew up nearby. We walked from a relatives house in Uphall along the fairly well maintained 'Public Path to Binny Craig'. Very steep final ascent, breathtaking views.ClanLawrence11/07/2020

Approached from the SW via damp path through Hangingside Wood wearing my wellies then steep sensible route to trig and then summit.Dugswell216/09/2017
A classic Crag and Tail, being an igneous intrusion into softer shales . Much later ice from the west has scraped over the top and deposited the softer Tail. Had an easy fun scramble up the hexagonal columns of the cliff then descent down the Tail. A fine landmark and viewpoint. U.K. Climbing lists 5 climbs exist but no details or grades . The dolerite does not really look ideal rock for climbing but is the common climbing rock in the Central Belt.Chris Pearson07/06/2017
