From Inverchapel.PGCE24/05/2019
Sligrachan Hill and Beinn Ruadh from minor road to N. Good forest tracks to reach open hillside and ATV track most pof the way to the summit of Sligrachan Hill. Pleasant walk along ridge to Beinn Ruadh, after which there were increasing clearances providing excellent views across Loch Eck. Descent by the same route, bypassing summit of Sligrachan Hill to the W.RobertP24/02/2019
Walked up from Inverchapel CP as per SMC Guide. Simple route but very steep at times. Only day of the week without super views. Good lunch in Garden Café afterwards.IanHHill15/05/2018
From Inverchapel CP, bridge over the stream, right then left up stepped path to open hillside. After that the best route is unclear but all routes are steep.Topographer5724/02/2018

Sun 4/9 - Beinn Ruadh - from Gairletter layby opposite start of Forestry track - interestingly boggy on top - return by a different track coming out at quadbike centre/farmmnph04/09/2016
Didn't find best route up, much thrashing through bracken to gain ridge. Returned rather closer to Inverchapel burn high up but still I am sure not the best.dickscroop10/10/2015

From Inverchapel. A very slow and nasty thrash through 8' tall dense bracken for 3 hours and return by Puck's Glen. There must be an easier way! 9 1/4 hrs.arranc27/06/2014
2nd graham today along inverchapel burn to summit.robertphillips04/01/2014
From Inverchapel Forestry Carpark. Followed Red banded poles till second gate then straight up. Steep but easy underfoot walking onto ridge. Long ascent to S Top then easily to Trig. Came straight down steep bracken and craggy face to white banded poles. Misty and light rain on tops. 2 1/2 hoursalexmaclennan22/09/2013

With D Roeder. Fr car at Inverchapel (9:15) followed red trail anticlockwise to top & steeply up through bracken and old trees to open slopes & broad summit ridge. Back same route; car 12:50. Fine; showers over Arrocahr Alps to Ndbb08/10/2012
Bus terminus in Glen Finart to Benmore Gardens via top of Pucks Glen. Maped path between ridge and tree line not evident on the ground - Much bracken bashing!Smudge04/08/2012

from inverchapel, straight up from red trail, deep bracken/steeps, over 620m top. Back same way.nordicstar28/08/2011
From Puck's Glen, horrific terrain. Sunny, windless, -1c but felt mild, good views.iangalbraith12/12/2010
Trig revisit. From WSW, layby at NS143882: first 250m tough (deer track - a bit obscure, N bank of burn) then straightforward nice grassy climb, a little brashy at first. Greyish start to the day, a little drizzle.RHW09/05/2010
Steep ascent from Forestry Commission carpark at Inverchapel. Damaged trig at summit.Aye Jimmy13/04/2009

On the KIMM 99 with Darren doing A Class. Rare to actually go to a summit -normally skirting and contouring to save height / time. A tough year with course too long admitted by planner in retrospect. we were out for ages.Friend Rob retired on day 1 and checked into a remote hotel with his credit cardChris Pearson30/10/1999
Date is first visit. Notes from later...fine steep ascent by stream, fine hill, fine views. Loch Eck E shore, A815 @ 143876 RHW07/05/1998
