Followed 'bolton's route as below though there is a new deer fence running across the hill now at about 300/350m that needs to be climbed.49pp20/01/2020
left car at gourock, ferry over to dunoon, bus to sandhaven, along road and took upper track in glen kin, leacann nan gall, cruach nan capull repeat, cruach neuran south top, cruach neuran, cruach nan caorach, cnoc madaith, along track and road to ardtaraig for the bus back to dunoon.robertphillips21/12/2019

Inverchaolain, Cruach nan Capull, Leacan nan Gall, Black Craig.PGCE21/05/2019
Parked by Inverchaolain church and took standard route N via Sron Dearg to reach Cruach nan Capull. Started raining at this point. Continued to Leacann nan Gall and descending close to Beallach na Sreine to join track down Inverchaolain Glen. Breezy, and warm for FebruaryRobertP23/02/2019
Parked at Inverchaolain church. Followed the track past Stronyaraig and up Inverchaolain Glen. At 102765 (Just over one mile and 500 feet altitude) an ATV track leads easily and quickly to the ridge. 2 hours to the summit and then on to Leacann nan Gall.bolton06/09/2018
MMC walk with Fraser, Malcolm and new guy Cameron. Dry overcast day. We came up the track to Leacann na Gall and onto Cruach na Capull. Retraced our steps when we met Fraser who made it to the top. 6 hours.alexmaclennan08/07/2018
Solo. Parked at the entrance to the churchyard at Inverchaolain. Went north on the road a little way and then past Stronyaraig. Walked north to go up the hillside to Sron Dearg. It was very hot and the going tough as there was much bracken and heather. I joined an ATV track that rises up from Coire nam Bruach. I wish I had known about this track as it would have provided an easier route up the hill. I followed the track north up the ridge to reach the trig point at point 572m and the summit of Cruach nan Capull. Returned over Leacann nan Gall.pwbellarby07/06/2018
After Beinn Ruadh then lunch at Benmore Garden café, did this as per SMC guide from Corrachaive path start on A815. Worked fine, but path in 2nd half of forest is not so much overgrown as very boggy. Just beginning to clear at summit.IanHHill15/05/2018
From Inverchaolain via Sron Dearg and south ridge.Winterfloodian29/04/2018
Up via Inverchaolain Fm and Black Craig. Bitter wind chill on summit. Descended into the glen then took a lower route than the marked track, more interesting, several fords and foot bridges, albeit the marked track would have been easier. By the way the call box shown on the map at 085772 is an empty shell.Topographer5726/02/2018
Parked at the church. Through Stronyaraig farm and straight up the nose to Sron Dearg, then taking in the Glenstriven trig pillar. On to Black Craig via the Highland 5 Leacann nan Gall.jonglew15/11/2017
With Jenx. Parked at Inverchaolain church, saw a red squirrel carrying a young kit in its mouth. Direct up the long ridge behind farm, rough going lower down till the ATV track comes in. Sadly mist above 450 m so limited vieee. Onto black crag next.nordicstar27/05/2016
Probably a good circuit on a finer day.jenx27/05/2016
From Corriecravie. Straightforward ascent, fine weather until just below summit when entered the cloud so no summit views.dickscroop09/10/2015

From chapel at Inverchaolain. On farm road around the hill to moor. Zigged uphill to horizon of nose leading steeply up to Sron Dearg and faint path to trig 8777 at 11.30. A further mile by fence to top at 12.05. to L nan Gullarranc22/03/2003
Parked at Inverchaolain and walked through the back of Stronyaraig farm over Sròn Dearg to the trig. A flat ridge walk from the trig to the summit a welcome break from the preceding days up and downs.garyhoney18/07/2000
