Parked at cattle grid NS 028 902,through the trees and then straight up.ARM07/05/2022
Up south side of burn from cattle grid.duchally28/04/2022
From W. Good parking opposite track at 993935. Via Forc Airgiol (mast) though it's rough terrain along the 'ridge' to summit of Creachan Dubh. Fence NW from summit leads straight down to track.49pp14/07/2021
The Kilbridemore route. Parked as far as possible off the end of the extra long passing place NE of the farm entrance. Up towards the sheep fank as others, then the track up the hill. Vague, intermittent ATV track continues up to the prominent grassy bump below the crags. Steep but firm going. Track heads SW over the bump and below the crags to emerge easily onto the moor by a rocky bump (good landmark for descent). Rough stuff across to the summit.Gill28/05/2021
A relatively amenable Argyll hill. Limited parking in layby 200m E of start of track up to Kilbridemore (NS032908). After initial green farm track, this becomes a delightful luscious grassy forest track, crossing Kilbridemore Burn twice before climbing gradually to pass below Creag na Sgeith and follow this around, roughly, to exit forest at a ruined wall. Straight up beside forest edge meets an ATV track which climbs intermittently to highest point of forest at about NS012923, then it and animal tracks considerably assist a traverse over the tops SW to summit. In descent, the ruined wall provides a big target for a handrail for the key point of entry back into the forest – keep the drainage ditch close on your L and the level ride will develop into the green forest road.Isbjorn18/10/2020
From cattle grid and up south side of Allt na Croise - thanks to ChrisR. Bracken not a problem on a frosty November morning but definitely less rough on that side of the burn.Lindsay M16/11/2019
2 of 4: Parked by the cattle grid at 029902. Ascent by north side of Allt na Croise. Belt of head high bracken. Descent by south side. Much better.ChrisR08/08/2019
Direct ascent from gate at 027898.Chris Peart31/03/2019
From Kilbridemore, steep but easy grassy slopes to lovely stone crafted trigpoint. Fine views to Arran, Jura and Mull. Afternoon on Beinn LaganN.Morters28/04/2018
From Cruach an Lochain. It was surprisingly easy down through the forest to the forest road. The forest road ending near Creag na Sgeith goes almost to the forest edge.Alan Moore10/04/2018
Approched via track to sheep dip (Kilbridemore).ger05/05/2017
From layby via Kilbridemore, track as far as burn, then above its south bank as far as the top of the crags. This was a slight detour in deference to a polite and seasonal request from farmer not to cross the middle of a field of ewes and lambs.Topographer5718/04/2017
Easy up and down from KilbridemoreAndrewFinnimore23/03/2017
Parked at 032907 in a small layby for a very early morning walk. Up the farm track and just before the sheep fank head uphill making for the gaps in the crags. Lots of bracken. Great views, just over 3 miles and well under 2 hour return. Solo.bolton17/06/2016
A nice walk over easy ground from the sheep fold.jenx13/04/2016
With Jenx, parked below farm at Kilbridemore, using Ian Galbraith's excellent description. Cut direct up through crags then aimed left for high point and trig.nordicstar13/04/2016
Easy route - from layby 032907, up Kilbridemore farm road, through 2 gates, turn left up hill at vehicle track just after 2nd gate and before sheep fank. No bad vegitation to overcome, just a tussocky hill. Sun and some good views, bit cold.iangalbraith29/12/2015
kilbridemore cattlegrid up side of burn then fenceline to the top.robertphillips12/04/2015
From the Glendaruel campsite, with mora.BLACKHILL02/04/2015
Miserable day. from layby at 032907. Just a thrash through 5 ft high bracken and thistles. Saw nothingThearlaichdubh30/08/2013
Ascent straight up alongside the Allt na Choise from the cattle grid (parking). The wood is no obstacle and a path higher up takes care of the tussocks.fasgadh16/12/2012
Start: NS036909 (after Cruach an Lochain). Notes: ascended via track from NS034929. Followed track until clearing in trees. Ascended including small amount of plantation bashing to reach fire break at NS027926 which was followed south to edge of plantation. Ascended WSW to gain ridge and subsequently summit. Descended directly to Kilbridemoreraffemeister27/10/2012
Solo from B8000. Track then fence line to the top.chrisbien24/05/2008
Parked on west side of Glen Ruel. Gap in deciduous forest by a grassy knoll and up on sheep tracks to visible horizon. Sheep all the way to top. Over fence to top of crags with final 1 mile on wet swamp to top at 12.00. Loch Fyne full length.arranc03/10/2004
