Parked up near farmhouse and rang bell to ask for permission and lady said thanks for asking and please do go past front of the house and in between the banks. Very easy but walked around a bit first. Continuation to Bryn Ty-Mawr... | Dazingdale | 27/09/2023 |

From S. Easy parking in very wide track entrance at SH 5494 6485 (farmer happy, provided gate isn't blocked) - N. & then NE along lanes to sections of old fencing without barbed wire (around 5502 6521) - Up steep banking, straddled low wire fence & made way over ramparts, two ditches & a low mossed-over stone wall to summit. Masses of dead bracken & some bramble, but not too bad in March. | gerrybowes | 26/03/2023 |
With Rufus from track leading to farm/house. Parked 200m east of track along road, a little tight for parking here. Walked up road then along track. Short walk to the fort and amazing views. No one around at the property. | jacobrichmond | 20/01/2023 |
Permission to access given at farm. Lovely grassy top with cairn. | Alan Caine | 17/09/2022 |
Lame. Parked opposite a gate, went over, through an empty feild. Through a gap in the overgrowth. Over a brambly rock which seemed like the highest point. Went down into another empty feild which was the summit. Lots of brambles and ferns, not great. | Skarletk | 06/09/2021 |
Great hill fort. Asked permission at Pen Dina's farm to access the summit. | Adrian | 29/06/2019 |
Me and Alf from the track. | jrj | 15/02/2018 |
Parked in front of gate by road junction to SW, crossed pasture and over wall near the trees. Then easy to get to summit along boundary of upright slates. Well preserved double ditch and ramparts. | milimana | 03/03/2017 |
From WSW, pasture and brambly ramparts, gate into summit meadow with bouldery collapsed cairn | RHW | 13/09/2015 |

Tricky: Just managed to sneak past farm house. | GordonAdshead | 26/04/2015 |
Did a full circuit feeling that whatever way you go the house owners might object. The hill fort remains quite obvious. Stones at highest point. Be ready for barbed wire, bracken and brambles, however be plrased by the sense of adventure and the sense of history. | Martin R | 24/03/2014 |
