Logged Descriptions  (logged by 11 users)ByDate of Ascent
The Mawddach 3 Peaks! Abergwynant Wood, Coed-y-Garth & Pen Erw Goed along Mawddach Trail from Bont y Wern-ddu CP. Bang on 20km. Found ok ascent route from track to west; last 30m less easy! Went down east, even less easy.TK01/02/2024
Initially on forest tracks, higher ones overgrown, then a thrash through mature deciduous trees and mossy understory to various knolls, one of which was the HP. No views.Denise 15/10/2022
A character building expedition along the wooded and vegetated ridge from picnic bench view point at it's SW end (with no view). Thunder, lightning and heavy rain adding to the experience. Visit both summits before descending steeply N through trees and heather back to forest track.RichardM15/10/2022

From SSE, parking at gate or lay-by to E, forest road then yellow tape marks an OK route, mixed woodland OK in Dec, occasional bramble, eg in saddle between main summits, E is obvious, W has 3 candidates, on a short ridge as per 25k contourRHW03/12/2017
