Out and back from Cemaes Bay CP. Moel Llanlleiana - Dinas Gynfor - Graig Wen. With R.Dan Baddeley25/11/2023
Walking the Anglesey coastal path and tried to find a passage through the bracken and brambles which obstructed any path to the rock.PhilipChaston04/09/2023
As gerrybowes. The verge parking is on grass, at a corner above the steep hill, NOT the tarmac passing place.Minto17/07/2023
From Cemmaes on the coastal path. Go past the summit and take a wide path off to the right, pass under the summit and take an obvious right up a grassy bank, up past an old wall, then look for a grassy oath off to the right that leads up to the trig. No gorse bashing involved.JulieB08/06/2023
The third of three Tumps on a clockwise circuit from verge parking at SH 3863 9443 - From Dinas Grynfar, continued on path to a rock slab at SH 29625 94836, up faint path to ridge & E. along ridge to summit rock; encountered a mixture heather, bracken & gorse, but not too bad - Descended SE to grassy area & continued over grass, cutting through a gap in the E. ridge, to rejoin the Coast Path to E. - RoW down to road & a 1.3km walk back to car.gerrybowes30/10/2022
Quick diversion while running CP with Paulinemilejunkie08/09/2022
Third of the 3, along coastal path from Dinas Gynfor then found Faint path that headed up to HP through rough stuff. Getting to trig proved much harder and could find no easy way back to coast path from trig, so returned way I came.PeterD13/08/2022
Third Hill on a circuit along the Welsh Coastal Path from Cemaes to Porth Wen.johnbarnard2503/08/2022
First of the trio. Dropped off at start of fp to south. Very limited parking. Turned left at gate onto open access land and found a faint path through dead bracken. This took me onto ridge but would be hard to find in summer months.Campbell Singer22/04/2022
Diversion from coast path. With B, B and R. Three good Tumps!jenx15/10/2021
Coastal path from Cemaes Bay, which bypasses this Tump. The trig wasn't too difficult to attain but the actual summit is well defended by gorse and other prickly stuffColin Crawford08/10/2021

Lovely coastal walk to catch the 3 tops in the areaMark Sims28/06/2021
Ascent while on Cemaes to Amlwch section of the Ynys Mon Coast Path. 15.0km, with 500m of ascent.Man of Kernow126/05/2021
Parked on pull-in on minor road (enough room for 2 - 3 cars) SH386 944. Circular route taking in Graig Wen, Dinas Gynfor and Moel Llanllegiana.David Evans24/08/2019
6th tump of 9 today on a car excursion from Pentraeth with Lesley; climbing Maes Maethlu, Penbryreglwys and Mynydd Garn then over to the Castellor car park on the edge of Cemaes, dropping onto the coastal path at Llanbradig church then climbing Moel Llanlleiana and Dinas Gynfor. I veered off the coastal path to explore all the potential tops before pushing through the bracken to get back onto a path. I went onto briefly explore the ruins at Porth Wen including a Natural stone arch. Fantastic place. I took a lane all the way back to Cemaes except one stretch on a parallell path Next: Bryn Coch...Dazingdale19/07/2019
P S of Ty-du. Up road then N up RoW. Followed WCP to W of top then climbed up. Found overgrown path back down E of top.chrisbien30/06/2019
Parked in small layby / verge at SH 386 944. Nice coastal walk, taking in the other two peaks.DanMaisieBex13/04/2019
From car park in Cemaes Bay, via Llanbadrig church, Moel Llanlleiana and Dinas Gynfor with Derryderrymark05/01/2019
The last of the tree hills I climbed up while walking along the coastal paths. Nice that there is a trigpoint on this one.Alancache26/04/2018

Lovely circular route, from Llanbadrig churchJamesD197223/06/2017
From 387 944 where there's passing for two cars just west of footpath north past the big white house, to the bay with interesting ruin before taking coastal path west then back tracking east to the Middle summit. Now a beautiful sunny afternoon, fluffy cumulus and turquoise sea on to this highest of the three Craig Wen 91.3m with trig pillar S7297vegibagger13/06/2017

From Dinas Gynfor on very windy family walk. Only Xan and I visited the actual summit.Herbert Anchovy13/02/2017
Parked to the SSE then footpath initially until a narrow path was found through the prickly gorse and heather to bag trig then Tump summit.Dugswell225/01/2017
Third of 3 tumps - lovely walk.jimbloomer09/01/2017
Bit of a tricky one to find but spied the trig point after a little searching. Archie had a sleep in the carrier for the first time. Lovely sunny winter day.W111KYB28/11/2016
TRig just off coastal path and set amongst attractive ( but prickly) purple heather and yellow gorse. Hard to tell which is the high point of this and several rocky outcrops but we bow to the Trimble.Denise 07/08/2016
Plenty of lumps to choose from amongst the heather and gorse of the summit ridge. I thought the most western outcrop myself but it's not a popular choice for the summit.RichardM07/08/2016
Third of 3 tumps on this fine section of coastal headland from Ty'n-llan. Number of large rocks protruding the surface, an obvious contender for HP is the largest rock, but believe a smaller one is the best bet. Trig pillar approx 80m ESE.jonglew15/09/2015
Parked car in small grassy lay-by on minor lane south of the coastal hills at SH 38877 94474 - room for one car. Main car park south-west of Llanbadrig was closed for refurbishment. Took lane east to bend, then grassy track north to west side of Porth Wen. Then followed coastal path a short way before diverting to climb up through little crags and low gorse to trig point. Then visited central top and western top too. Walk continued to Dinas Gynfor. Solo Nordic walk in fine sunny weather.Man of Kernow113/06/2015

Large car park Cemaes Bay at SH 37489 93760. Climbed Dynas Gynfor and Craig Wen on fabulous 6.5 mile circular coastal walk. Retuned to car park walking west on very quiet minor road. Cut a large loop of road out via a public footpath to Llanbadrig.David Gradwell11/07/2010
