Logged Descriptions  (logged by 18 users)ByDate of Ascent
Unexpected effort- up the steep straight water-eroded forest path which cuts across the forest tracks, today foaming with water after heavy rain, the doubled back SW along NE boundary of forest across rough sheep pasture. Returned same route crossing both the Merin and Rhuddnant rivers on small bridges- flow fast and furious below. Then SW on the semi- flooded Mynach river path (south bank) to Devil's Bridge via Pen Bodcoll.Denise 08/10/2020

Repeat ascent to retrieve my GPS, left on the summit the previous evening. Found it! From the lay-by on the A 4120 at SN 75377 79115, by the track past Tymawr farm. Solo.Man of Kernow103/04/2017
Continuation of walk from Pen Dihewyd. dropped steeply south to join the forest road. Followed this to a bwlch, then up the ridge over a minor top to the summit - one barbed wire fence to negotiate. To return, headed back to bwlch and took bridleway west by Tymawr to the road. With AW.Man of Kernow102/04/2017
5/7 on wet misty windy day (Glan Fedwen/Cistfaen/Esgair Ganol/Yr Allt/Llechwedd Tyn-y-Maes/Pen Dihwed/Banc Mynyddgorddu)Fergalh19/03/2017
Banc Dolwen, across to Llechwedd Tyn y Maes and finally Pen Bodcoll. 12.93m 4h35. Quite a lot of effort for a Tu4. The key to it is the footbridge at about 770778 as the river is just too wide to jump and any stones looked suspiciously slippery. Once over the river take the path uphill diagonally north and double back along the forest fence to the HP. 76383 78115 looked similar height (over the fence just in the forest).clivevilla07/02/2017
