1017919/09/2015SH 93561 06363  F: Heathery knoll just W of forest fence. Small 450m OS ring.(Measured higher than larger 450m ring in forest but no line of sight from ring to ring and accuracy of GPS alts even more suspect than usual due to trees)
O: High point of larger 450m ring at SH 93594 06327 was 450m GPS. 451m OS spot location was visibly lower (visited). Reduced GPS accuracy due to trees may have affected readings in forest.

O: Trees now felled (other ring contour clearly visible). Agree with RHW that knoll just W of forestry boundary fence is HP. Quite a pronounced knoll, so smaller ring contour not contradictory.

Parked SH 960 059, opposite where waymarked route leaves road. Followed said route to within 500m of summit, then fairly easy felled ground.mae07/03/2024
Parked next to footbridge to the west. Verge is firm despite damp weather. Fiddly way up. Turned up final pull to south of Cwm Pen Lydan. Good early morning views as trees have gone.Campbell Singer15/11/2021

Another top bagged whilst walking the Owain Glyndwr Path. Best way in is from the forset road to the NE. Leave the forest road at a wide ride at SH937065 follow forest ride to fence and open ground just south of fence corner then open ground over heather and tussocks SSW to top.Rob Pen y Garn28/03/2017
