Bit damp and misty today but a quite memorable day for reaching Demi-Dodd status earlier on Breagach Hill.Alex C26/12/2019
Parked just up from Torrancroy farm. Up new forestry to serious deer fence. Followed NNE to corner and then up to summit. Rain, wind, mist, no view.MichaelF22/05/2019
Out & back from Clashenteple Hill. Note: Stile for deer fence @ NJ3486916786 (the only one I saw between the tops)Smudge25/12/2018

An easy stroll from the quarry, following the logging road, and then turning right onto a clear mossy track at a massive turning area at a bend in the road. This goes to a gate and a stile onto the moor. The owners have had a grant from the EU to plant native trees, but instead of planting them properly (by hand), they have used a machine to dig forestry trenches all over the hill. This is utter vandalism. They've made massive channels in the fragile tundra, and these will take enormous amounts of water...erosion, flooding...But the views from the top are still five star, and it's a very good hill, despite the damage.Gill08/09/2017
Forest track at NJ 33842 17681 is overgrown but passable and ends at deer fence. Better to go on to NJ 34052 17974 where track goes up to gate in fence at NJ 34172 17675 and then continues to close to summit.Lionel Bidwell15/08/2017
Ladylea Hill (NJ 343168) S/F NJ 335176 Good parking space by start of marked path. However path not obvious so used good forestry road to gain height. Found a good break in forrest at about 340180 leading directly up ridge to edge of forrest. Easy ascent to sumit, return by same route. Cold with lying snow in places, good visibility, light winds.John Young01/04/2017

Parked at the quarry at 335176. The return was just over an hour but although the path through the forest starting at 338177 is quite good the tree branches have taken over. There is a man made gap in the deer fence as you emerge the forest. Solo.bolton09/02/2016

There is some debate over whether this is a Graham; I learned this the day before I did it but climbed it anyway. Nice views.IanHHill11/06/2015

From old quarry at 336176. The hill is now planted and protected by a high fence with rabbit netting. Simplest to follow heavy duty track to 338177 and turn right towards a gate and stile. Direct shortcuts are possible, including continuing south instead of round hairpin bend. I tried this, climbed the fence at a corner, concluded that it was not worth the time saved and returned via the gate, tracks and a narrow tree break.Topographer5705/10/2014
2nd graham today, up north on 3 day graham bagging trip.robertphillips04/07/2014
W Jenx from car park described by Martin. When following track go further than the old ride encountered (overgrown) as we did. Lead to top but deer fence to cross. Nice new mixed woodland plantings. Came back through gate and minor track to large cleared space on main track.nordicstar02/06/2014

From NJ 33586 17600 followed obvious forest road to junction and then up an older track to gate and across moor (but soon to be planted with trees by the look of things). Obvious top. Couldn't be bothered to go for nearby Hump but looked an easy enough yomp over the moor.Martin R26/11/2012
Followed track and path to ascend by north ridge.JohnW01/05/2010
Easiest hill possible. Walked after Mona Gowan. Parked just beyond Invernettie Farm track end, at passing area opposite Lost Gallery junction. From there simple matter of crossing field, walking uphill past shooting butts and up to summit over easy heathealasdaircairns19/02/2009
Solo. From the minor road towards Glen Buchat at a notice board about Glenbuchat Wood North. On a forest road, first south and then north round the north ridge of Ladylea Hill. Followed a lesser track up the ridge, at first through forest and then through open moorland to the summit. Descended more directly down to the road.pwbellarby16/02/2008

parked car at the junction before Torrancroy cottages and headed straight up the hill beside some grouse butts, very simple and straightforward but it has good views into the Ladder Hills.torkm13/05/2006
High cloud, clear, mild, good views.iangalbraith08/06/2005
Parked beyond Invernettie. Over gate across grass field with sheep steeply uphill over wire fence thru heather on narrow paths past butts. Tiring tramp over heather to final dome heather carpeted top at 16.40.arranc13/06/2004
