1 of 5: Parked 1/3 mile south of Invernettie Farm. To the farm and track up to a small hut. Continued to the top where we had a chat with a SOTA operator and his wife. With Karen.ChrisR29/01/2024
Parked opposite track to Invernettie (NJ 3419 1529). Mixture of mapped and unmapped tracks to summit cairn. On to Clashenteple Hill, Mid Hill and Hill of Cummerton and return for a 10.6k round.jonglew23/11/2023

Up via the firebreak and gate and a more direct route straight down to the road a few minutes south of the car.Bit of windblow to negotiate so probably not much quicker.ARM03/03/2023
From old quarry, round hairpin bend then up the charted track on the right to deer fence (able to duck through damaged fence to right or left). Up direct to summit, picking up ridge path from N. Onto summit, a good wander around, good views.CJM14/02/2023

Parked NJ 3360 1762. Track to NJ 3405 1800. Track up firebreak to gate with stile at NJ 34167 17682. Then track followed across moor which has been planted with native pine trees before breaking off in direction of summit across short clipped heather.PeteF16/10/2022
Good parking NJ 3360 1761. Mapped track to hairpin bend. Ahead (S) on grassy break (NJ 3372 1739). At NJ 3375 1729 ahead (SSE) along fence line to hole in fence at NJ 33722 17159. Up stony track (E) turning S up very rough, deep, stony, eroded channel at NJ 3380 1716. This unmapped track passes very close to summit, where left over short heather to top and cairncarole engel13/10/2022

From disused quarry at NJ335176, headed SE on forest road to the first big bend, continued S through a forest ride to the fence, then followed that E up on to the moor (climbing the deer fence at a corner), and a track that curved round S towards the summit, and a thin track direct to the cairn, return the same way (1h)kdbennett11/03/2022
Followed forest road and moorland tracks from road end at 336176. Sunny day but very windy. Continued to Clashenteple Hill along edge of forest (fairly easy going on a rough track) and then descended to Invernettie to return to start along road.rjf3501/01/2022

Up from the old quarry with three under nines, (Anna, Cami and Tomi). All enjoyed the hill. Up in about an hour with fine views and interesting mushrooms etc in the forest.ragudave05/09/2021

A revisit, now that it's one of my local hills, using the dead easy route from the quarry as per my last log. Happy to see that the heather and lichen is beginning to recolonise the forestry trenches at the top of the hill and that the trees are beginning to grow. Maybe it will look lovely in a few years?Gill217/12/2020

6.50pm and the final of 7 hills after work after a tough cross country linking run - magical to be in such a lovely quiet spot with hills all around after a day working locally - which is why we moved N from Sussex a year ago. Quick run down track to road back to car and then to Ballater cottage to join L, T & D for a late supper.Chris Pearson07/09/2020

Parked up a in a large hard-standing area about about 350m south of Tornagawn and took a track in the forest which eventually got us to Mid Hill. Next along the same track to Hill of Cummerton, before returning back to Mid Hill and following a further track all the way to Clashenteple Hill. We then parallel the deer fence NW to just shy of Ladylea Hill summit - quite hard going in snow and heather, but helped by an ATV track some of the way. Returned via a path cut through the new plantation to Invernettie, then back along the road to the car. Nice round trip given the high winds and snow.summitter23/02/2020
Bit damp and misty today but a quite memorable day for reaching Demi-Dodd status earlier on Breagach Hill.Alex C26/12/2019
Parked just up from Torrancroy farm. Up new forestry to serious deer fence. Followed NNE to corner and then up to summit. Rain, wind, mist, no view.MichaelF22/05/2019
