Brimmond Hill is so much nicer from the west side, good car park south of Wynford farm as per the map. Good path up over moorland, nice views inland and masts invisible until close to the top. Distance and height similar to the hideous road to the NE and the start is closer to the A90. Following the blue and black markers gives a good return on the S side of the hill, turning N when close to the road. Dying bracken a slight nuisance and there's a few gorse prickles where the path is narrow, but it makes a very pleasant circular walk and almost seems like a proper hill.Gill228/09/2023
With E. Early morning walk on cold, sunny day. From Brimmond Hill car park, Craibstone, along tarmac track to war memorial summit then onto trig point. Extensive views across to Aberdeen and port.Beeliner13/09/2023

From car park at NJ845086, via well defined, waymarked path. A dutyfull, early morning, splish, splash, splidge up in driving Bank Holiday rain. Plenty of evidence that the dog poo bag fairy does not reside hereaboutsIsbjorn26/05/2019

Bus to Westhill and walked over top with some issues as I tried to avoid too much walking on pathless roads, and also due to major road building. I walked from the top to car park and on to Tyrebagger car park where a kind local gave me a lift to Blackburn from where I caught bus back to City. This saved me risking life and limb to cross dual carriageway and also a long walks along the hard shoulder to reach the bus stop nearest the car park.trimarc221/05/2018
From CP to NE of hill. Nice little hill - spoilt a bit by rubbish in CP & on hill. Good views of Aberdeen.ger23/04/2018
My last Marilyn of 2017, at sunset, with good clear views all round, making it a better walk than it might be in poorer conditions. Very urban, up a tarmac road, nasty masts, lots of dog poo and litter, and a nasty cairn. But never mind, it's a Marilyn!Gill31/12/2017

Ticked whilst waiting for a ferry to Shetland from a car park north of the summit. A poorly maintained country park with a burnt out car beside the path but we did see Mount Keen from the top.mindlessflogger17/08/2016
